FOR THOSE OF Y'ALL WHO CAN'T REMEMBER, LEE WAS ON CHAPTER 2 (browse him out lol). He barely has a scene there though and he barely talked. I just wanna clarify that out..but nah, it helped me built his role here. He'd be on a mission here so, he'll be as significant as the other casts.

Basahin po natin ano? Hahaha pag natapos ko yung ibang drafts, siguro, matatapos na rin tong librong ito. Konting chapters nalang. Anyway, readreadread. xoxo

Taehyung's POV

Lee.

That bastard.

Of course, I remember him.

"Where does that guy work again?" I find myself asking.

"I don't know," Jungkook replied. "I thought that guy is in prison."

"Well... he was in prison," Yoongi injected. "He must've gotten out. Or bailed."

"Who's Lee?" Johnnie, on the other hand, looks confused and awfully curious. I almost forgot that he was new to the picture and that he's here.

"Lee...." Shit, just mentioning his name made Yoongi's mouth sour. Just hearing it made my ears bleed. "Lee was uncle Choi's adopted son. He was a drug dealer little did we all know back then and he has involvement on our mom and Jungkook's dad car incident. He's way older than us. He got involved with the dealing of drugs but soon were put behind bars after being guilty of doing it plus a second-degree homicide still- pending case. But God, he still refuses and claims that he shouldn't entirely suffer alone since he's just an accomplice. That lucky bastard. That fucking lucky bastardo. Uncle Choi must've helped him out. And fuck, we're not even aware."

Jungkook's expression dimmed. This was a highly sensitive topic for him. Even for us. Mom has an involvement in this and she died. Both of them died. The gang was there. Our suspicions were cut loosely.

Of course. Lee was out. And we're too distracted to even feel it.

"Uncle Choi? I thought I heard that name before.." Johnnie says and I can almost see the spinning wheels in his head. "Isn't he the one who Alex works for?"

"I guess," Was Jimin's reply. "He works in the Philippines for years now. I haven't been in touch just as much."

He moves his gaze from Yoongi, Jungkook, and I who just shook our heads in return.

"Philippines? Isn't that place like a four-hour flight from here?"

Jimin made his way to the couch adjacent to the computers and took a seat like his legs can't bear the weight of his body or heart. "I think so. He moved out of the country and began business there. It was his way of mourning."

And yes, we have different ways of mourning for the dead. I was not close to him though. I remember having a meal with him and the family back when mom still lives but aside from that, I couldn't distinguish him from the strangers I meet on the streets when I feel like stretching my limbs for an afternoon walk. He was a stranger to my eyes.

"I met aunt Shijin since she's my mom's sister when she went to get Jungkook from us. That's when you met him right?" And he looks at Jungkook then to us. "I didn't know both my mom and yours have a brother though. I just found out now," Johnnie mutters to himself but just enough for us to hear him anyway.

Don't worry. I knew but I kept shut.

"Uncle Choi took mom's passing quite hard," Yoongi said.
