I woke up alone in Yan's bed, rubbing the sleep out of my eye.

The bedroom door was wide open and I could faintly hear the sound of something sizzling.

I sat up, swinging my legs over the side of the bed. I tried putting my weight on my bad ankle, but I could barely press my heel against the floor.

Sighing, I grabbed my bra and shirt that I had on yesterday before pulling off the t-shirt that Yan had lent me.

Not bothering to put myself through the bother of getting my jeans on, I waited patiently on the bed until I heard Yan's footsteps.

He walked in, already dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a blood red t-shirt that matched his hair.

His face lit up when he saw that I was awake. "You haven't been waiting long, have you?"

I shook my head. "No, I just woke up a little while ago."

"Breakfast is ready," He said, lifting me up into his arms. "How's your ankle?"

"Still sore," I grumbled, resting my head against his shoulder.

"Oh well," Yan said as he carried me out of the bedroom and down the stairs. "I don't mind doing this for as long as it takes."

He brought me into the living room and placed me down on the sofa in front of the TV before handing me the remote.

I watched as he walked out to, what I assumed was, the kitchen, before turning on the TV; scrolling until I settled upon an old sitcom I used to watch back when I could afford channels.

Yan came back into the room carrying a tray which he placed down on my lap.

"Bacon with eggs on toast," He smiled, heading back out again. "One sec, I've made coffee too."

The man was a god.

He came back in carrying his own plate and 2 mugs. He handed me a pink one before sitting down.

"How bad was my episode last night?" I asked.

Yan made a slight shrug. "You were distressed, but I don't think it was too bad. You calmed down very quickly when I roused you from it. Afterwards you were very peaceful."

I let my eyes fall onto my plate. "It's been a while since I've had my medication for it."

"We could find other ways..." He suggested. "How about we Google it after breakfast?"

I looked up and smiled at him. "Good idea."

His cheeks reddened as we continued eating.

"Avoid caffeine, nicotine and alcohol for six hours before bedtime...Create a peaceful sleep environment...Exercise...." He looked at my bad ankle. "Never mind...Essential oils?"

That piqued my interest. "What kind of oils?"

"One of them is lavender." His face burned again as he avoided my eye. "It says...massaging it in before going to sleep can help."

I felt a smirk pull at my lips. "You wouldn't have happened to have taken massage therapy classes, huh Yan?"

He looked back up at me. "How did you know?"

I blinked at him.

"The first rule of massage therapy is the welfare of the receiver." Yan stated, placing me down on his bed before picking up a small box.
