I was freezing so I reached over to put my arms around him. I felt around his side of the bed, he wasn't there. He must have gone out to pee or something. I crawled to the foot of the makeshift bed and grabbed his hoodie. I pulled it over my head and wrapped a blanket around the bottom half of me as I unzipped the tent. It smelled amazing outside. He was about ten feet away from me at the little picnic table we set up camp next to. The smell was the bacon and eggs he was cooking on the habachi. When he saw me climb out of the tent he smiled over at me and asked if I needed to pee. "Oh god yes." There's a little building over that way, girls bathroom is on the left side."
Breakfast was ready when I got back. After we ate, we packed up and headed back home. We got back to denieces at around ten. After a long goodbye kiss he jumped in his car and left. I hopped in the shower, trying be as quiet as possible because deniece was sleeping. Then I went to the mall.
I needed some new skinnies, and maybe a few things from hot topic. But as I walked past the pet store I fell in love. The cutest little pug puppy was standing up against the glass. He was so fat and adorable I had to buy him. I took him back to denieces and wrapped a bow around his fat little neck. I named him Romeo. Ross was gonna fall in love at first sight.
"Hey baby, I need you to come by my place sometime tonight. Maybe after rehearsal or something. Love you." was the message I left in the machine.
A few hours later he called back. "Hey love, cha doin?" "Waitin on you, where are you?" I asked. "Hmmm, it's a surprise. Meet me in Valley Village on Kling and Irvine. Call me when you get close and I'll meet you somewhere." "What's goin on?" "It's a SURPRISE! Hurry up." "Kay."
I got to VV in about 15 minutes. Romeo was jumping on me the whole time. Puppy breath in my face. I called him when I got to Irvine street. "Are you here?" he asked. "Yeah, where are you?" "Be there in a sec. Can't wait!!!" A minute later I saw Ross walking toward my car. He walked to the passenger side and got in. His eyes lit up when he saw Romeo. "You got a puppy? Omg he's so cute." he picked Romeo up and held him nose to nose with himself. "I got YOU a puppy, and his name is Romeo. Love him?" "Of course I love him." Then came the baby talk. "Who couldnt love this skwooshy wooshy cutey wooty baby puppy?" "Ok, good haha, so where's MY surprise?" "Oh yeah. Umm pull onto Kling and drive kinda slow. It's close." about five seconds after pulling onto Kling he told me to stop. "Ok, come in, grab Romeo, it's inside that house." He pointed at a small Victorian. We got to the door and walked in. The place was nearly empty, except for a box or two. "Well?" he asked. "Well what?" "Well what do you think of my new place? Or, maybe OUR new place?"
