Voltron: Trial By Fire - part 1

Y'all know this is from season seven. Starring from when Voltron was hit with the zifordge canon.

The first thing Keith remembered was getting hit with the canons. The next, were his fellow Paladins. What had happened to them? Were they all ok? Cause he knew he wasn't. He could feel warm liquid on his side and leg, blood. It stung worse than fire.

Keith slowly regained focus of his surroundings. He saw colors, too many colors. He wanted to drift off, back into a deep sleep. But the thought of his family kept him going, the Paladins. He needed to make sure they were ok.

Keith opened his eyes fully. And...they were all there. And they were ok! "G...guys?" But they were all still unconscious. Keith looked around and found Admiral Sanda standing next to Sendak. She was saying something. What was it? Keith shook his head, trying to clear it, and the words coming out of her mouth filled Keith's ears.

"I delivered you the lions as you requested." Said Admiral Sanda. "Now it's time you uphold your end of the bargain. Hand over the Paladins to me and leave Earth." Keith almost laughed. Did she really think Sendak was going to do that? As expected, Sendak was not cooperating.

"That won't be happening." Admiral Sanda actually looked...shocked.

"We made a deal!" She exclaimed.

"Indeed we did. I find it amusing watching you try and take me down. So I will be giving you the Paladins and you and them may leave back to your base. Except one."

He knew it was stupid. It was just down right dumb. But the thought of one of his Paladins having to stay on this ship made him angry. Admiral Sanda had betrayed them, and now one of them had to pay for her mistake. Keith needed to step up. And that's exactly what he did.

Keith sat up abruptly, the pain in his leg significantly increasing. But he didn't care. He cared about the Paladins, they were ALL getting out of there.

As he stood up, Keith saw movement out of the corner of his eye. He turned his head to see the rest of the Paladins sitting up, looking around.

Keith ran at Sendak. He summoned his bayard and was about to strike before he was knocked to the ground with a hard thud. He looked over and found that one of the guards had shot. His leg now had two injuries, great.

Sendak slowly moved towards him, and struck. His bionic claw sticking in Keith's left arm and the left of his torso. Also great, two injuries on his sides.

Keith faintly heard screaming, but not well. The pain of Sendak refraining his claw is what brought back his consciousness fully back to him.

"Keith?! Keith can you hear me?! It's Pidge please look at me! You're ok!" Her voice was shaking. Pidge was crying, he realized. Then another voice entered his mind.

"Keith please! We need you to look at us! We need to see you're ok!" Lance, Keith thought. It was Lance, he was calling out to him. But Lance always teased him, why was now any different? "Keith, you're our leader! You need to look at us." That's right...Keith thought, I'm there leader. I need to make sure...that they're safe, that they're ok...

Keith turned his head. He was face to face with 4 scared looking people...Allura, Hunk, Pidge...and Lance. "Why...why are you all looking at me like that?" He croaked. Pidge smiled and let more tears fall.

Admiral Sanda turned to Sendak. "Fine, don't leave Earth. We will beat you. But let all the Paladins go back with me."

"No."
