Mack was running DNA tests on some new pack members. They had thought they were human. They were wrong. He hoped to find answers for them. The results floored him. He double checked them. They still said he was Blue's dad and her children's grandfather. How could that be? He had longed to find his mate since he was a young man. He was thirty when he got drunk one night and ran across his mate. It had been wonderful; but by morning he had woken up at home. His friends had told him they had found him in bed with a married woman and her husband was about to come home. They snuck him out just in time. Because they had been drunk they couldn't even remember were she lived. She had to be Blue's mom. She was the only woman Mack had ever slept with. Was she still alive? Married? It had been almost forty years. Dare he hope that he could finally have a chance with her? And with their child and her children?
