Author's note:
Guys, here is the story! I'm from Indonesia, so English is not my mother tongue, but then I'd like to give my best for making this story in English.
Thank you for the appreciation. Enjoy reading!

To be one of the people who has Heterochromia iridium eyes is not the thing that I can be proud of. I hate it when people in school mock me for my strange eyes because the left one is pale grey and the other one is dark blue. It starts becoming a problem to me. Well, they more likely bully me; always and non-stop. I'm getting tired of their bullying and I want to break free.
Right now, I'm helping my mom to sort out our family's documents. In my both hands, I hold my birth certificate. It is written my name.
Starva Theone Roseus Aethelred.
I read it out loud purposely. Mom definitely heard me.
"You know what, mom, I don't like the name to be honest."
"What do you mean?" I could certainly tell by her expression she felt somehow offended, "Oh now, you're complaining your name because those bullies in your school mock your eyes colours, huh?" my mom glared at me.
"Mom... It's just, you and dad gave me those weird names."
"I was the one who decided your first name and the rests were by your dad."
I sigh and protest, "I don't care who decided which names. I don't like Greek names. You and dad could have just given me COMMON English names."
I emphasized the word 'common'.
"Aethelred is your father's surname. It already sounds English! What do you want more, Starva?!" my mom snapped at me.
"I know! What I mean is my first and middle name, mom."
"You want new names?" she asked me that and then I nodded, "Okay, you may decide a new name of your own accord, but after that, don't you ever expect me and your dad to know you!" my jaw dropped open.
She was really mad this time.
"I thought you were seriously going to permit me to change my n—"
"I would never have a second thought of it! Do you understand?!" my mom emphasized every sentence.
She has made up her mind and I can't do anything.
"Yeah, understood," I answered it with a tired voice.
My mom looked me in the eye and she said these words in a deep sadness, "It makes me sad when you're not grateful with your own names."
I just shut my mouth and looked down. Oh, I shouldn't have said that to her or let her even know, but I'm really sorry for being honest. I have hurt my mom's feelings. If my dad was here, he would not look at me anymore.
"I wanna make tea."
As she was saying that, she left me all alone here. I immediately walked straight to my bedroom. In the mirror, I looked at my own reflection, walking closer and then examined my eyes.
I am so pathetic... These eyes have caused me to suffer bullying for more than 3 years!
Then, I began to silently cry to myself.
***
I went to school the next day because it was Thursday.
When it comes to arrive at school, I never like it. I become the center of attention because I am bullied by everyone.
