"You know, this may come as a surprise but this is the first time I've actually skipped," Christian told me as we reached my house. He had gotten a lift from his friend today so he just drove my car home for me. I would have driven but he insisted, something about not wanting to lie to the staff. He had opened the car door for me and was waiting for me to get out to close it behind me.

"Considering all the times you've texted me during class I'm genuinely surprised but I glad to know that I'm such a bad influence on you," I joked, feeling more at ease with him than I had with my mask on. I was taken back for a moment but I brushed it off because it was great, it meant it was real.

"A bad influence? I think that's an understatement Jess," Chris joked back and took my hand for the short walk up the drive way. "You don't have your house keys on you're key chain with your car keys," Christian observed and look at me with a quizzical expression on his gorgeous face.

"Yeah that way if I lose my car keys I can still go home and if I lose my house keys I can still drive," I informed him with a shrug. "My hosue keys are in my pocket." I tried to pull my hand from his but he wouldn't let go so I went moved my other hand over to my pocket to take out my keys but apparently Christian had other plans. Plans that made me tense up when he snaked his hand into the deep pocket of my skinny jeans and took my keys out for me. He didn't look me in the eyes but I hit his arm when I saw a devellish smirk playing on his lips.

"You're an idiot," I muttered and walked inside after he opened the door.

"But you love it," he said knowingly with the smirk still present. I gave him a playful glare and tilted the corners on my lips down.

"Don't push it," I warned playfully and went to walk into the kitchen when he kissed me, sweet, soft and short but it sent tingles all the way down to my toes.

"Don't frown Jess. You look too cute." Crhistian smirked and tapped my nose lightly which of course made me pout jokingly and his eyes widen before leaning back in but I spun on my heel and headed into the kitchen.

"Hey do you want to like pick out a movie or something?" I called from the kitchen and opened the press, my eyes immediately falling on the bag of pretzles, my addiction. I took out a handful and dropped one into my mouth.

"So you really do love pretzels," I heard Chris say from the door way.  I looked over my shoulder at him and slipped another one inyo my mouth with a smile. I felt so at ease, it was the strangest feeling ever. It was as if I had been with him for a year and not just texting him. All the confidence and comfortableness I had with him was real and there without being J. I was able to be me or at least the person I felt I could be if  I was so nervous and shy wiht everyone. Chris just laughed and shook his head with a grin.

"I'll get food, you get a movie," I told him and plugged the microwave into the socket before looking for popcorn.

"Whatever you say Jess." I could hear the smile in Christian's voice as he walked back out in to the living room to browse through movies. I started popping popcorn and was looking for soft drinks or something when I spotted something from the corner of my eye and I had to. I just had to. I pulled the hair tie off my wrist and twisted my hair into a hurried, messy bun. Then I left the popcorn in the microwave and picked up everything I needed. I crept over to the living room and slid them along the floor, keeping myself hidden outside.

"Jess? Why did you-? Oh damn," I heard him say and before he could react any more I jumped out from behind the wall after turning my semi-automatic gun on and started shooting a stunned Christian with Nerf darts. I shot about half of my darts at his chest and arms and then turned around and ran upstairs. I could hear him curse, turn his own gun on and then his thundering footsteps as he followed me. He was so much faster even with my head start and before I knew it, I felt the sting as he shot my back.
