"Yes! That was adorable!" I exclaimed, laughing.

Kira and I were talking about one of Taylor's recent interviews. And Michael was looking at the both of us, bewildered and slightly annoyed. Poor boy, thought he would come and hang out with me but instead he's the third wheel.

"I can't believe I'm actually talking with you. You're amazing," Kira told me and I blushed, shaking my head.

"Not really. I just fangirl," I smiled.

"You're so lucky that you're friends with Taylor," Kira took a sip of her drink.

"Hey. You'll be friends with her too. As soon as you meet her," I replied. "She's at her apartment right now with Ed."

"Meeting Taylor..." Kira mused. "I can't even imagine that. Like, that's just... I can't even fathom it."

I laughed, "I know. It's hard to even imagine it."

Around us, people had come and gone but we had been there for hours. Talking. Talking about everything. Life. Love. Taylor. I loved Kira. She was definitely a new best friend of mine. She was amazing and such a fangirl, it was awesome. I would for sure be hanging out with her all summer.

I grinned and turned to Michael, figuring I shouldn't be completely antisocial and talk to him.

"I bet you regret introducing your sister to me," I told him, laughing.

He rolled his eyes, "Just a little bit."

I felt slighlty guilty... I'm sure he was a great guy, I just let the fangirl life get the best of me. I took a deep breath, shaking my head.

"How about we reschedule hanging out? Just the two of us?" I asked, smiling slightly.

"Sure," he grinned, nodding his head. "I won't bring my sister next time."

"Hey!" Kira exclaimed, mocking being offended.

I laughed, shaking my head at their sibling banter. Suddenly, I was aware of my phone vibrating in my pocket.

"Excuse me, I have to take this," I said, standing up once I saw Taylor's adorable selfie on my phone.

"Hello," I answered the call.

"Hey!" Taylor's voice came through the phone. "When will you be back? Are you bringing your boy back? What's his sister like?"

"Woah, Taylor, relax," I laughed. "Can I bring both of them back for dinner?"

"Yes! I'll make dinner! Eeee! I'm so excited!!" Taylor hung up and I shook my head, smiling.

I returned to the table, sitting down and taking a sip of my drink.

"Do you guys have plans for tonight?" I asked.

Kira shook her head, "Not that I know of."

"Would you want to come back with me to Taylor's place for dinner? She's encouraging me to be social and make friends during the summer," I said.

"OH MY GOD YES. MICHAEL PLEASE. YES!" Kira exclaimed, looking as if she was on the verge of tears.

I grinned, my fingertips tingling with excitement at the thought of giving someone happiness.

"Let's go, then!" I said, standing up.

Michael and Kira followed me, Kira breathing unevenly with excitement. We walked to Taylor's apartment and Kira stopped in front of the door.

"I can't believe this is happening. That this is finally happening. I am meeting my idol. Oh my God," Kira took deep breaths and I touched her shoulder lightly.

"You deserve it," I opened the door and ushered them in, following them to the elevator.

As we slowly ascened in the elevator, Kira's breathing got more and more uneven. Her hands shook and tears appeared to be in her eyes. I smiled, imagining what it would be like to be her. To finally be meeting your idol and having dinner with her.

The elevator dinged and we stepped out into the hallway. I stopped at the second door and pulled out my key, opening it.

"Taylor!!" I yelled once the door shut behind Michael. "I have someone who wants to meet you!"

"Hey!" Taylor popped her head around the doorframe of the kitchen, grinning.

"OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU!!" Kira suddenly unfroze and started crying.

"Aw! I love you!" Taylor set her dish towel down on a table and ran over to hug her.

Taylor enveloped Kira in a hug and Kira cried, grinning and holding onto Taylor tightly. I grinned, letting them talk and walking into the kitchen.

"So this is Taylor Swift's apartment," Michael said, looking around the mismatched kitchen.

"Yup!" I grinned. "Isn't it so... normal? Taylor is such a fun person to be around."

"You seem very calm about all of this," he told me.

I laughed, "You kind of get used to it after a year. Being friends with Taylor Swift is just like being friends with anyone. It feels really weird to say Taylor Swift."

I inhaled the delicious aromas that filled the kitchen and looked at Michael, feeling slightly guilty.

"Sorry," I apologized. "I'm crazy. And you have to endure my fangirling and my being friends with Taylor."

"It's a privlege to know you," he said quietly. "You're not crazy, you're awesome. At least that's what I think so far. I suppose there is time for you to prove me otherwise."

He winked and my stomach errupted in butterflies, the beautiful kind, making up for--sorry, sorry.

I smiled back at him as Taylor and a red-eyed Kira appeared in the kitchen.
