The strange interaction that had occurred between between the Forbes twins had left the younger undeniably worried and the older incredibly guilty. Unfortunately unbeknownst to Cassie, Caroline had just been turned into a vampire and she wasn't dealing with it well at all. After showing up at the Forbes household all distraught, Caroline sped off to the carnival to have some fun. She decided to brush off the interaction with her sister as a mistake, she hadn't meant to want to feel the need to sink her teeth into her little sister's neck and she knew she wouldn't. Apparently that was enough to reassure her that she was fine, that was until she bumped into Matt and felt the same way which caused her to breakdown once again. Luckily for her Elena's boyfriend was there, Stefan. Coincidentally he happened to be vampire, he decided that he would take care of Caroline and help her through the first part of being a vampire.

Cassie didn't know any of this and decided that she wouldn't tell her mom about anything that happened, one because she didn't want to get in trouble and two she didn't want to worry her mom.  The younger twin spent the rest of her morning with her daughter whilst occasionally looking at her phone hoping that Caroline would call.

To take her mind off some things she called Marcel who made her laugh and tried to ease her concerns. Bonnie had also called her and she stayed on the phone with her for a while. Just before hanging up, Bonnie suggested going to a party at the swimming hole but Cassie declined as no one was around to take care of Ellie. It was now around three and Ellie was going to wake up from her nap soon and the blonde felt a bit hungry so she stood from her comfortable position on the sofa and stretched, there was a ring  from the door bell stopping her mid stretch.

She opened the door to a handsome man with a deep-set, forest green eyes. He smiled in amazement.

"Sorry" he said quickly  "I'm Stefan, Caroline's friend you must be Cassandra, she's mentioned you"

Cassandra stood skeptically at the door not opening it fully "she stayed the night at mine, she asked me to tell you that she's alright but seriously hungover" Stefan continued

"She could've called, texted. You could've even dropped her off if she's so seriously hungover and why would she be hungover" Cassie questioned him

"There was a carnival last night" Stefan's words trailed off, judging by the look on Caroline's twin she wasn't having any of it.

"This is not like her you know. Please can you just bring her back" Cassie asked getting increasingly frustrated

"I'm afraid I can't do that" Stefan replied

"What do you mean you can't do that, you made it here. All you have to do is go back to your house, get Caroline and drop her off here" Cassie snapped.

Stefan stepped back a bit, in fear which made Cassie internally chuckle. He wanted to just simply compel her, it was clear Cassie wasn't going to drop it but the door wasn't fully open and she could probably scream bloody murder if he advanced towards her.
