Draco
Draco was the happiest he had ever been in his short life, he had his mate cuddled up to him and there were no problems in sight. He cast a quick tempus to check the time, it was a few minutes until twelve. He didn't want to wake up Harry, especially with the raven haired boy sleeping so peacefully so he decided to stay in bed for a while and wait for the other boy to wake.
He stretched his arm out and grabbed hold of one of his favorite books, a potions journal of Severus' s when he was younger. Severus had given it to him for his birthday and Draco couldn't have been more pleased. He delved into the pages of the book, focused on reading how to harvest basilisk venom.
Harry
Harry didn't want to move, in fact he wanted to burrow deeper into the strong chest underneath him. He laid there, listening to the steady beat of Draco's heart and he knew that the veela really did care about him. He opened his eyes and smiled at Draco who's head was burried in a book. Whatever he was reading it must have been interesting for the blond's eyes were wide and he didn't notice when Harry had entagled there legs together to get more comfortable.
They sat like that for a few minutes, Draco reading and Harry watching him, until Harry's stomach growled. The second it did Draco's head snapped up and he closed his book.
"Do you want to go downstairs and eat or do you want to eat up here?"
"Can we eat up here?" Harry mumbled.
Draco untagled from Harry before snapping his fingers and ordering ham sandwiches. Harry was sad that there wouldn't be anymore cuddling but the momemt he thought that Draco laid down beside him and pulled him closer.
"Can you tell me about yourself?" The blond inquired.
"There isn't much to tell...I was born, my parents died because of a psyco dark wizard, my relatives hate magic, and I am destined to kill the dark lord that killed my parents."
"I meant other things, like what your favorite color is, what you hate to do, not things that everyone knows, I want to know you, just Harry."
Harry blushed and smiled at him. "I was supposed to be a slytherin..." Draco raised an eyebrow but didn't comment,"my favorite color is green, I hate potions because Snape makes the class a living hell for me, I like snow.... thats about it."
"Fine, my favorite color is black, I hate the color red, I hate Gryffindors, I love the rain, I like cake, and I like you." Draco said. If Harry could get any redder he would have, he wasn't used to compliments that he actually cared about.
The house elf popped back in at that moment and they began to eat there sandwiches. They sat in comfortable silence together and enjoyed there closeness. When they were finished the hous elf popped back in and took away the remains of there lunch. Draco took Harry's hands in his own and placed a kiss on each. Harry blushed a bright shade of red and draco smiled.
"Will you, Harry Potter, give me, Draco Malfoy the honour of taking you on a date tomorrow afternoon? "
Harry's eyes went wide and he threw his arms around Draco's neck before he pecked him on the cheek. "I would love to." Harry's chin was pulled up to look into Draco's eyes. They sat there for what could have easily been an hour staring into each others eyes. Harry's breath caught in his throat as Draco lowered his lips onto Harry's. It was breef, a gentle touch of lips, and Harry wanted more, so much more.
Draco chuckled before leaning down and pecking him on the cheek.
