Harry sighed as he saw his bags sitting in the entryway, he didn't want to leave. Malfoy Manor felt like a home to him, a sanctuary. Draco said he was grabbing a few things before they left so he was currently in their rooms. Harry had no clue why Draco couldn't just accio or have a house elf get the items but the blond was insistent on getting them himself. In fact, the blond had been acting strange all day. After their shower, the blonde had recieved an owl and had instantly excused himself to their rooms.

Harry sighed as he once again checked the time, he was growing impatient. Draco promised to be in the entryway in fifteen minutes. It had been half an hour since he promised that. Harry sat down on top of his school trunk and twirled his wand between his fingers. He was more relaxed than ever this year, Draco had helped him with his potions and even tutored him in his other classes. He was still surprised when he realized how far they'd come in the span of a few months.

Lucius walked through the door and offered a reassuring smile to him. Lucius opened his mouth to say something but Draco plowed through the door, a box in his hand. He pushed it into his mate's arms and watched as Harry opened it. The raven's eyes widened comically and he looked to him questioningly.

"I know that speaking to snakes has caused you a lot of problems, but...I sort of got you one. I was hoping that he would protect you when I'm not in the same class as you." Draco supplied. Harry smiled, and wrapped the snake around his waist before hugging Draco tightly.

"Thank you, I love him...I love you." Harry whispered to him.

"I love you too Harry." He whispered back.

Harry looked at the snake and smiled when he saw it's tongue licking the air. The snake's scales were patterned with odd shapes in a light tan and dark brown, and the glimmered in the light of the entryway."What's your name little one?" He hissed. "I am Bellator." Was the simple reply. "Well Bellator, you have lovely scales."  Bellator did not reply, and Harry assumed the conversation had ended.

"He's a Carpet Python so he'll only get five to seven feet" Draco supplied.

"Well, knowing my luck he'll get much larger." The three of them chuckled.

Draco and Harry boarded the train hand in hand, and slid into an empty compartment. Draco sat upright with Harry laying down, the raven's head rested on his lap. They sat in silence for a few moments before Harry interupted it.

"Draco, why do you keep lube in the shower?"

Draco laughed, "I had always hoped my mate would like to do something other than bathe in the shower. Luckily I got you, and you my little mate, are a very mischeviously dirty person."
