Dema High school.

Chapter 1,the new kid.

Tyler woke up to the dreadful sound of his alarm clock. As it rang he let out a grunt and slowly sat up. He sighed softly as he turned off his alarm clock before placing it down and then rubbing his eyes. He silently pushed his duvet off of his body and then turned his body around, placing his feet on his wooden floor. He stood up and let out a tired yawn as he stretched his body. He looked around his room,his cream walls had posters with all kinds of different video games and bands on them. He eventually made his way to the bathroom and brushed his teeth and freshened up and as he did so he hummed softly to himself. Tyler had always loved music, it had been his escape when things went down hill.

As soon as he finished freshening up he quietly made his way back to his room and went to his dresser to search for clothes to wear to school. When he eventually found some clothes he put on some black ripped skinny jeans,a grey shirt,black converse,and a red beanie. But of course before placing the beanie on his head he ruffled up his hair. Sometimes he was teased at school for looking like an "emo" or a "goth" according to the other teens around him,but he wasn't bothered by this considering it was light teasing.

A few minuets after he grabbed his school bag and made his way downstairs. He walked into the kitchen quite sluggishly considering he was still tired,his kitchen had a marble counter top and a dark navy tile floor,he noticed his siblings eating in the kitchen along with his mother as his father had already made his way to work.
"Glad to see you're awake" his younger sister Madison remarked whilst smirking, his brother Zack chuckled with a cheeky grin as his mother sighed and the youngest child Jay shook his head quietly while eating some toast with jam spread on it. "Leave your brother alone you two" she demanded. Tyler was the eldest of four children. It was tiring having three siblings,that didn't mean Tyler loved them any less though.
"Would you like some breakfast?" his mother asked in a soft tone. Tyler softly shook his head and politely declined "No thanks,I'm going to start heading to school now actually."
His mother nodded him and handed him some lunch as she gave him a kiss on the forehead "have a good day sweetie" she said in a cheerful tone. Tyler smiled softly as he began to walk out "Bye I love you mom!"

Tyler made his way to school,it was a nice sunny day considering it was only a few days into the school year. He eventually arrived at his school
and after he went to his locker he went into his first class,math.
He sat in the middle row,a few seats away from the window. He looked around the classroom as more students rushed in, he noticed a tall male walking in,he had never seen him before. The male sat at the back of the class,he looked extremely anxious. Before Tyler could get into deep thought the math teacher walked in,this teacher was probably one of the coolest teachers in the school. His name was Mr.Chlorine,but the students had permission to call him Ned if they liked. He was a short old chubby man who had white hair and a white beard on his chin. In Tyler's opinion he slightly looked like a goat, but of course he would keep that to himself. He had a feeling if he mentioned it it wouldn't exactly turn out great on his end,no matter how cool Mr.Chlorine
was.

Eventually, all the students arrived in the classroom,almost filling up all the seats. Mr.Chlorine let out a small 'ahem' to grab the classes attention, which worked and made the students look up at him.
He then smiled "Good morning,I'm Mr.Chlorine. I know a lot of you know that already but we have a new student today. Josh Dun,why don't you introduce yourself to the class?"
Tyler turned his head around,realizing that the boy he noticed walking into the classroom was in fact a new student.
As the boy heard his name being called out his eyes slightly widened a bit and he gulped as he stood up. His brown eyes glanced around the room,he noticed Tyler and all of the other students. It took him awhile to speak up but he got to it.
"M-My name is Josh..And I've transferred from TOLCS (tree of life christian school). I am erm..I'm excited to meet new people and learn new things here.." he said scanning the room once more before looking at the floor. Tyler smiled a bit,he wasn't able to relate Josh's anxiousness though. He had been going to WCHS (Worthington High School) since the first year, and the people he was in school with now have been attending school with him since he was a toddler minus some of the exchange students and new students. 
But,some of the students chuckled and slightly mocked Josh's nervousness,which made Mr.Chlorine very upset "if you find something funny we will see if you still find it funny outside the principals office." The students then quickly went silent before Mr.Chlorine spoke "We're glad to have you here Josh! Welcome to WCHS!"
Josh smiled ever so slightly before sitting back down as Mr.Chlorine finally started his lesson.

After a few classes lunch finally came along. That was probably every students favorite time of the school day.
As Tyler made his way through the crowded cafeteria with his packed lunch he looked around for somewhere to sit. Tyler didn't have many friends in school, he didn't really "fit in" with anyone considering he was known as the 'weird emo kid'.
He looked around for at least an empty table before something,or dare I say,someone caught his eye. It was the boy from his math class,he made his way over to the table and smiled warmly at the male. "Josh right?" he asked holding out his hand for a shake. Josh looked up and raised an eyebrow,he was surprised anyone actually wanted to speak to him but he was excited nonetheless. Josh then smiled and nodded as he shook his hand "yep..You were in my math class right?" he asked tilting his head.
Tyler nodded "Yeah I am. I'm Tyler"
