Virgil: Hey Thomas, I really hope I'm texting the right number this time

UNKNOWN NUMBER: Hey Virgil! This is Virgil right?

Virgil: Yup

Thomas🏳️‍🌈: Wait, this time?

Thomas🏳️‍🌈: What did you do dude?

Virgil: I accidentally texted this random stranger named Patton because I mis clicked one of the numbers for ur # and he added me to this group chat with a bunch of his friends

Virgil: I'm now part of a virtual gay friend group who could live on the other side of Canada for all I know

Thomas🏳️‍🌈: By "gay group" I'm assuming you mean that they're all gay?

Virgil: Yup

Virgil: There's a nerd named Logan, an over the top cheerful, dad-like person named Patton, and an extremely dramatic (but extremely attractive) person named Roman

Thomas🏳️‍🌈: And you just... trusted them?

Virgil: I have a lot of online friends and they turned out fine

Virgil: You know Terrence?

Thomas🏳️‍🌈: Well yeah of course

Virgil: He's an Internet friend

Thomas🏳️‍🌈: Well yeah

Virgil: They seem chill

Virgil: I was talking to them for about an hour and I think that I'd be able to detect if something was off by now

Virgil: I have crippling anxiety, remember?

Virgil: My fight or flight reflex would've kicked in 20 minutes into the conversation if something was really off

Thomas🏳️‍🌈: Good point

Virgil took a deep breath as his left hand shook with nerves, anxiously awaiting his new friend group's reaction to his unholy name. I mean, Virgil? Seriously? That's so dumb and nobody would take him seriously. To Virgil, his name sounds like a rejected Disney Villain.

Virgil's breath hitched and his heart leaped into his throat as he felt the vibration of his phone from another incoming text message. Of course, it was from the group chat. Great. Time to get ridiculed.

Group: what is happening

Roman👑: Oh my god, your name is VIRGIL?!?

Roman👑: OH MY ZEUS THAT IS SO COOL

Roman👑: That is such a unique name!!!
