In the city of Lues people have begun disappearing and an unsettling silence fills the city as if it waited for something.

Jack was slowly brought out of deep sleep after a strange dream. But like many others, they seemed to just fade away once he woke up. He pulled himself out of his bed and stood up stretching before heading out of his bedroom.

Jack walked out of his room and was met with silence, as usual. He headed down the hall and turned a corner before he saw the familiar sight of the children all standing silently, one behind the other, queuing up for their breakfast. He sighed and headed over before standing at the back of the queue.

"Morning," He said to the smaller kid in front of him. But the child remained silent most of the others in front of him.

After Jack had waited, he eventually got to the table where the food was laid out. Everyone seemed to be clones of each other in this town. Everyone copied everyone, everyone was equal and no one complained. There was no individuality. But of course, Jack had to be the odd one out.

He got himself a couple of sausages and some fried eggs which were exactly the same shape and probably cooked for the exact same amount of time. Then he headed over to the large table in the dining room and began to eat his breakfast. There weren't many conversations. Just ones about how good the food tastes and how lucky they were to have it.

After a depressing breakfast, Jack headed back to his room. After getting changed, he headed for the front door of the orphanage and began the journey to school.

A whimper came from the side of him as a man started yelling out this blue-haired girl. He had her arm tightly in his grasp and she was crying which is something that is rare to see.

Jack looked up from the ground and looked across to his left, noticing the young girl. He frowned and slowed his pace. This was the most interesting thing that had happened in years, he thought sadly. But he watched from a distance, a little hesitant to intervene.

"Please, sir I need to find my brothers!" The girl cried her eyes suddenly meeting yours. She wrenched her arm out of the man's grasp trying to talk to you. But the man grabbed her blue hair before she could step away.

When they're eyes met, Jack felt a pang of guilt. Why was he just standing there? Finally, with adrenaline already pumping through him, he stepped over. "HEY! What's going on here?!" He asked.

"This girl was going into all of the orphanages looking for someone. Don't worry the Telumbra are on their way."

The girl trembled and sobbed. "Please...I need...I need to get back....to them...they will worry."

Jack continued walked towards them until he was stood right up close to them. "And what's wrong with that?!" He protested. "Who are you to tell her what to do?" He added

The girl suddenly grabbed something sharp from her pocket and cut her long curly blue hair before grabbing your hand and running with you.

Jack flinched at the sudden actions but then was quickly dragged away. He couldn't really figure out what was happening because of how used he was to the boring routine of day to day life. But still, he ran with her, hearing the shouts and curses of the angered man behind her.

The girl dragged you behind her for a while until you both had lost the man and were panting. She wiped away some tears and tried to regain her breath.

But the time they had finally slowed down, Jack was panting too. He bent over and rested his hands on his knees before looked up at her "Hey ... you .. okay?" He said, in between breaths.

The girl nodded looking at her now short and uneven hair. "S-Sorry but I need your help...my name is Boe b-by the way." She said still shaking a bit from the stress.
