Everything stopped suddenly when I looked up at the other. I blinked quietly as Donghyuck was glaring at the other girl, and gently shoved her away from us. When did he come, and why did he decide to help me? The chilly breeze danced through my bangs, and I felt the the atmosphere accepting the coldness around us. They all had helped each other up, as Minah angrily cried out, "What the hell Donghyuck, why are you suddenly helping that bitch!? I know you hate her."

My ears perked up without a thought, as I didn't know how someone else would know about our hatred. Donghyuck ignored her question, and quietly picked up my backpack. I took it from his hands and he signaled me to follow after him so that we can leave. But Minah couldn't stop without backing down. "I know you like Jeno, why don't you just admit it Hwang Donghyuck!?"

The sun was slowly hiding behind the clouds, as it seemed to sense Donghyuck's flame rising. Donghyuck sighed heavily as he was murmuring cuss words under his breathe. He suddenly turned around and walked back to Minah, getting too close into her personal space as she screeched dramatically. His voice changed immediately as his distress can be heard, "For once, can you shut your damn mouth up?! You and that little mouth cause so many issues and if you don't shut up, I'll make you shut up. Whether it be from violence or from threatening you, you better shut your damn mouth up or else you'll be eating shit for a living."

He glared to the point you can hear glass breaking from a distance, as Minah stuttered in silence as she was surprised to see this violent side of Donghyuck. He fixed his backpack strap before continuing to say, "And Jeno would never ever like you back, he would rather just date me instead bitch."

He smirked at his own victory as he walked away from the trio, as Minah shouted angrily at us leaving the schoolyard. He then guided me to the bus stop, where he quietly just sat down on the bus bench. I wasn't sure if I could thank him, but he stood up without a word and entered into the bus when it arrived. I followed after, as he then sat alone in the back without another word.

There were no other seats in the crowded bus, as I struggled to find a spot. "Yah, Han Ryujin."

I turned to see Donghyuck motioning me to walk towards him. I shook my head before he made me sit down where he was, and he stood in front of me. He quietly tapped his foot against the floor of the bus, which I looked outside the window. There were various conversations within the bus, along with the screeches of the brakes and the car horns outside. I kept staring outside quietly, before I looked up to stare at the reflection of Donghyuck's face. His eyes met mine through the window, and we placidly stared at each other for a few seconds.

I didn't know why we did, but we didn't turn away from it either. I ended up looking down at my phone as Yeji started to text me. I didn't reply to her message as the bus then arrived to my location. Realizing that Donghyuck was getting off the bus, I followed after as we both stood at the bus stop.

"You live here?"

He nodded soundlessly, as he then passed me something. I looked down at my palm as it was a small bandage and some cream to help heal cuts. "You got a cut on your chin, probably from Minah earlier."

"Thanks-"

I couldn't say anything more as he turned around and walked the other way. As if that was the only time I could see his real side. The first time I've seen his gentle side. What will cause him to be like this to me? The sunlight started to slowly diminish as I turned around and headed towards my own neighborhood. But, I sensed something was staring at me from afar, and I tried to ignore it. But probably, I should have noticed it from then.
