Me-"Mann, that song says, "don't wake me up" yet I set it as my alarm." What even?

Dad-" Monii Wake Up Now!, I've been calling your name for the longest" he yelled into my room.

Me-"Ugh... I'm up ,What time is it?"

Dad-" 30 minutes to 7. "

Me-" I just woke up, and you're already trying to make me think. All you had to say was 6:30 ,why are you being so difficult dad ?"

Dad-" Little girl just get up. "

Me-" I am not a little girl anymore dad. "

Dad-" Well you will always be my little girl, ya know, but start getting ready. We have to leave at 7:45 if we want to catch our flight. I already put your bags in the car."

Me-" Ok."

I got up then went to my closet and picked up the only outfit that I left in there which was a Grey Ivy Park sweatshirt, a pair of black leggings, some Nike Flats and a jacket that I could tie around my waist in case the plane ride got cold.

After I laid my clothes out, I went to take a shower & do all my other hygiene necessities.

*45 minutes later *

Once I got out I put on my Sweet Pea bath & body works lotion and body spray on, then I went out of bathroom to my dresser mirror to moisturize my dreads. Next, I put on my clothes, shoes, and a simple watch and ring set.

I walked downstairs and seen my dad reading the morning news paper and drinking coffee, like every other morning. But seriously who still reads the paper?

Me-" Good morning daddy , are you ready?"

Dad-"Well good morning to you too ,and yeah I'm ready ,just go to the car, it's open."

Me-"Okay"

I walked to the car and started it up for him.

Once my dad got in the car we drove out the drive-way ,and started down the street my dad turned on the oldschool station, and I just rolled my eyes and put in my head phones and "Wicked Games " by The Weeknd came on ,and since the airport is like 45 minutes from our house I'm going to have to take a nap cause I'm still sleepy.💤💤💤
