Dad-"What?"
Me-" Why do we have to move?"
Dad-"Monii, I already told you a thousand and one times. We are moving because my job said that Atlanta is where all the real business is at."
My dad is a big time lawyer. Y'all know how that goes; the whole moving from place to place every couple years. 😒
Me-" Then why can't they move there instead of us?" I said with a more attitude than attended
Dad-"You know you got a smart ass mouth just like your momma!"
When he said that I started to tear up a little, and I guess he noticed.
Dad-"Mon, I didn't mean to say that." My dad said with apologetic eyes.
He knows not to bring her up.
Me-" It-It's f-fine", I said through tears that were about to fall. But I refuse to let them.
Dad-" I'm sorry baby girl."
Me-" I SAID IT'S FINE!" I yelled as I ran up the stairs to my room, taking them 2 at a time and slammed my door.
