5 Steps : Chapter 10

~ Jacquees Pov ~

I woke up and looked around then I looked down and seen a sleeping Monii.

She looks just like a dvmn goddess when she sleeps. I could get used to waking up to

that face.

Then I looked out the window and seen it was like midway dark/ light out.

I shifted my arm a little trying to slip it from under Monii without waking her up.

I finally got it from under her ,and she stirred a bit ,but fell back to sleep.

I looked at my watch and seen it was 7: 30 am . I decided I needed to go home and

take a shower because I slept in my clothes I had on yesterday ,and you know I have to

be fresh. I gently placed Monii on the couch. I walked over to the couch Issa was on

and shook him. He pushed me away and rolled over. He must have thought he was in

his bed cause he fell straight on the floor. His head instantly popped up. I told him to

get up and get his shoes on so we could leave. Once Issa tied his shoes up, I wrote her

a note and kissed her on the forehead. And left out the door with Issa making sure not

to slam it.

~ Imonii Pov ~

I woke up and I was laying on the couch.

I looked over at the couch to just see King sleep. I didn't see E. I didn't see Jac either.

They must have left to go shower or whatever young boys do.

I got up and stretched and looked down to see a sticky note on my Coffee Table. I

picked it up and read it , it said :

Me and Issa went home to shower and change. I will be back later on today.

Love Quees. ||||||||||||||||

Well, I guess that's where they went.

I walked up stairs so I could take a shower and take care of my hygiene.

When I got out I put on something I could just chill in.

My phone started ringing and I looked down at the caller I.D and it said

'💋💍💖Baeee💋💋💋' aka Trevor, I need to change his number to

' 💔💔💔💔Don't Answer 😡' , I rolled my eyes and hit ignore.

I went downstairs cause I was slick hungry. I decided on making me some eggs, bacon, and French toast. Yeppp , I be throwing down.

I also had on Spodify and the current song playing was' Mama 'by August Alsina.

This song always get to me because I can relate to it soooo much. I feel like he made that song just for me because my mom passed when I was 8. That is why I was upset with my dad when he included my momma into our discussion. I try not to think about that anymore.( Author's note - My mom really did die when I was 8 years old ) But in this song he be like '

I started singing the song even though I can't sing.

Next ,' No Flex Zone Remix ' by Rae Sremmurd and Nicki Minaj came on.

I was cooking and dancing at the same time.

------------------------- 30 minutes later ---------------------

I fixed my plate and sat down at the island to eat.

I was scrolling on IG ( Instagram) and I came to see this post and it was a collage with me and Trevor and it was captioned " I think I just lost the love of my life, wifey, other half...Baby come back 😭😥😭" , let me tell yall when I read that I busted out laughing, half because it was funny ,and the other half because I just couldn't believe he actually cheated.

I got off my phone cause I got bored.

I just went into the living room and started watching 'The Real Husbands Of Hollywood' .

Then I heard a knock at the door and I went to see who it was.

I looked through the peephole to see who was knocking and I seen dreads and a FYB tattoo so it had to either be E or Quee.

I opened the door and jacquees just stood there staring at me. I opened the door wider to tell him he can come in.

He still just stared at me , UMM , I started to get creeped out.

~ Jacquees Pov ~

When Monii opened that door , she looked good AF. I was just looking at her beautiful features.

I got knocked out of my thoughts by her pulling me into the house.

I must have been creeping her out because she gave me this weirdo look as she waved her hand in my face.

It was like I was in a trance.🌌🌀🌀

I don't know what came over me ,but I grabbed her face and just kissed her.

What she did next totally surprised me. 😳
