Footsteps could be heard not too far away, echoed throughout the empty streets. As loud as thunder, yet as quiet as a mouse. As black as the night itself comes a man from around the corner. His eyes locked onto mine. His collar pulled up, covering most of his face. The only detail visible is one piercing bright blue eye, starring directly into mine. Almost as if he knew something, something important. The dim lamp light hovering over the forgotten hospital. The man slowly moves. I keep my eyes locked onto him, he stops. I notice a slight smile from beneath his collar. That's when I remember, I've been here before. That smile was one that I've seen before. My past forgotten, but now I remember. This is my home, or at least, what used to be a home.
