The New Girl

Part 7

Olivia POV:
I woke up bright and early the next day and got ready for dance again. This was starting to become routine and I could really see this becoming my life. We went to the studio and we just worked on cleaning up the dances against. Tomorrow is the last day before the competition and all of our dances are already finished. I have heard that this usually doesn't happen and that we are usually working until the last second. Since we were done so early Abby had us taking classes from other teachers so that i get to know the rest of the staff at the aldcla. Today I have lyrical class and hip hop class and than we are going to go over our competition dances a little bit.

I really enjoyed the classes because the teachers are really good here. The numbers are looking amazing and I am so excited for the completion over the weekend.

Tonight, just like last night a had a chill night with my mom and I showed all of my dances to her. I went to sleep early tonight so I could be all rested for our final rehearsals tomorrow.

I woke up late the next day because we had a late start today. This is because the dances are pretty much done so we don't need to be at the studio for too long. I ate breakfast and than got ready for dance so that we could leave the house.

Today we were showing the moms all of our dances and when I was doing my solo I saw Johnny watching me. I put a lot of effort into this rehearsal because I didn't want any of the moms saying that I don't deserve to be here. After this rehearsal I got outside and start to talk to Johnny

O: hey were you watching me in there
J: Yeah, I'm so sure you will beat Maddie
O: you made me nervous in there
J: oh yeah?
O: yeah I don't want you to think I am a bad dancer
J: even if you were a bad dancer that wouldn't change anything
O: are you going to the competition this weekend?
J: no i have to spend time with my family this weekend
O: oh
J: I'll be rooting you on in spirit though
O: aw thanks, I'll need any help I could get
J: hey don't say that

He grabbed my hands

J: I'm sure you will do great
O: thanks Johnny. I have to get to rehearsal now
J: bye liv. Good luck if I don't see you
O: bye Johnny

I than went back into rehearsal and we cleaned all of the numbers up for the hundredth time. We were ready and I was sure that our group number and duet would do well, I just wasn't so sure about the solo.

That night I went home and packed for the competition. I didn't want to forget anything because that would be really bad. I brought out my huge duffel suitcase and FaceTimed Maddie

O: hey Mads
M: hey liv
O: I'm packing my stuff for the competition. I'm so excited!
M: same! Our duet looks awesome.
O: I know. I can't imagine that we don't win
M: don't forget to bring your costumes!
O: I know. I just finished packing and I have to go eat dinner. Bye mads
M: bye liv

My mom made my favorite dinner because it was a special night, it was the night before my first aldc competition. I ate my dinner and watched my favorite show, Gossip Girl, and than went to sleep.
