The New Girl

Part 16

Olivia POV:
I woke up on Wednesday really early for some reason. I still couldn't believe that I was on Dance moms! This experience was beyond amazing and I was so glad I went to that tryout.

Since I was up so early, I rehearsed my two dances over and over so that they were perfect. I felt really confident in myself and I really hope that we win this week.

By the time it was 8 my mom finally woke up and made me breakfast. I ate with my mom and than ran upstairs to get ready for dance. I put my hair into a high pony tail and put on my aldc attire. While I was getting ready I got a text from Johnny

Liv😘: gm John x

After that I packed up my bag and ran downstairs to meet my mom in the car. We were talking about how amazing the ALDC is and how nice everyone is. I wasn't made an official member of the team yet but I have a feeling I will be if I keep winning.

After our chat in the car we arrived at the studio and I saw that we were the first ones there. Abby than came up to me and said

A: hi Liv! Hi Lindsey!
Both: Hey Ab
A: Liv I expect you to win this week do you understand?

I than nodded and Abby said

A: maybe if you win you will be getting your team jacket.

After she said this I got so excited. I felt more motivated than ever to do well and to make Miss Abby proud. I than got lost in my thoughts about what it would be like to be an official member of the team.

Apparently I was daydreaming for a while because before I knew it everyone was here, except for Jojo. Abby than called us in for group rehearsal and we stretched out. While stretching I sat next to Maddie and she was telling me about her duet with Carson. She was making me really nervous because it sounded really good. The only thing that was making me calm was the fact that I did beat Maddie, and maybe I could do it again.

Once we started the group dance it felt really good. My rehearsals this morning had helped and I was really excited. Abby kept on telling me how good I was doing, and after group rehearsal she called me over.

A: Liv you are doing really well with this dance!
O: thanks miss Abby. I woke up early this morning so I rehearsed both of my dances many times.
A: wow, impressive! See girls this is the type of dancer that deserves to be at the ALDC.

When I turned around to walk back to girls, I noticed that everyone was watching Abby and I's little exchange. My mom was beaming but Melissa didn't look to happy about it. I think that Melissa was really jealous that Abby was giving attention to someone besides Maddie.

The girls and I walked out of the room to get water while to boys were still in there with Abby. The girls were questioning me about what happened with Abby and I told them.

O: she was just telling me that she thought I was doing well in the group routine.

This answer seemed to satisfy the girls and we went back to our lighthearted banter. I hope that the rest of the week is this good.
