It's two in the morning and Vanitas decided to text [Y/n]...
You: [Yyyyy/nnnnn] are you awake?
No response.
You: come on please? Wake up or I'm coming over
Still no response.
Vanitas decided to call.
[Y/n] didn't pick up.
So Vanitas hopped out of bed and put on his shirt and shoes and drove to her house. He knocked on the door. He heard a bit of shuffling going on but no doors opening. He knocked again and he heard a tired, annoyed voice, " who is it?!"
"it's me" Vanitas yelled back. He heard some more shuffling and a click. The door opened.
Who stood in the doorway was still half asleep [Y/n]. Her hair was a mess and she had on a baggy t-shirt. "What the hell are you doing at my house at... ", she checked her phone for the time, " 2:30 am?"
"I couldn't sleep. " Vanitas said simply walking through the doorway and turning back around to [Y/n].
"OK what else is new?" [Y/n] said still annoyed closing the door.
"I wanted to see you also" Vanitas said.
[Y/n] blushed, but it was dark so Vanitas couldn't see. "oh. Well then... Um I guess I'll sit up with you then. "
Vanitas wandered over to the couch and [Y/n] sat with him. [Y/n] went to grab a blanket but Vanitas stopped her.
"oh, are you cold? Come here then bring a blanket. " [Y/n] grabbed a blanket and moved over to Vanitas. He pulled her to his chest and covered them both with the blanket. "Cold now?" He chuckled at the bright red blush on her face. All she could manage to squeak out "no." Vanitas loved this. He wrapped his arms around her holding her as tight as he could without making her suffocate. He never wanted to let go. He loved this girl and he couldn't figure out words or anything to make her feel the same.
After a while [Y/n] got uncomfortable, she started to shift a bit. Vanitas saw this. He picked her up and brought her to her bed. " are you leaving?" she asked softly. " I guess I have too. I'll see you later [Y/n]. " He said with disappointment.
"No wait... " she said. He hesitated. "please stay with me? I don't want to be alone anymore. " she looked sad.
He couldn't bare to see that. He sat down next to her.
"can... You lay with me until I fall asleep please?" she said embarrassed.
He chuckled " Sure. "
He laid down next to her. He held her in his arms as tight as possible again. She slowly drifted off to sleep. He whispered to her, " I love you. " and drifted off to sleep with her in his arms.
