Hermiones pov

Monday morning, my Sunday had been uneventful. Laying round the common room and reading was all I really did. I woke up at 6:30 sharp, it was still dark outside and my bedroom was cold. I walked over to Draco's room to see him sitting up in bed, I walked over and laid down beside him "good morning princess" he said, kissing the top of my head "morning" I sighed, my arms round his waist. We stayed like that for 10 minutes, before he forced me to get up and showered.

I got dressed into my robes and put my hair in a low pony tail, strands framing my face. I filled in my eyebrows and gently placed both my rings on my fingers. When I walked downstairs Draco had my bag packed and was waiting by the door, I gave him a kiss as we walked out and we made our way to breakfast "what table is it today?" He asked "Slytherin" I said, dragging him over "good morning" Blaise said as he buttered some toast "morning" I said. I ate quickly and checked my timetable, I had transfiguration first three periods, meaning I was in my own as none of the others had chose it I said my goodbyes and as I walked to the classroom was passed a note by a student who  didn't recognise.

I placed it in my bag and continued walking. When I reached the class I took my seat near the front, Luna came and sat beside me "Hello Hermione!" She said gleefully "morning Luna, how are you?" I said with a smile "oh I'm fine" she said "could I ask you something abit private?" She said, her voice a tad higher than usual "of course, is everything okay?" I questioned "oh yes...I was just wondering if your friend Theo maybe...would like to go for a walk with me sometime, he seems like a very interesting boy" she said with a smile, her pale skin slightly red

"I'll definitely ask, I'm sure he would" I said "oh yay!" She said before turning round and focusing on the professor. Who would have thought Luna would like Theo I thought with a laugh.

When lunchtime hit I grabbed Theo as we walked down the corridor, I pulled him aside from the crowd "this better be important like someone dying because you're stopping me from getting food and I'm not pleased" he said "oh shut up, what do you think of Luna lovegood?" I asked "why?" He said with a laugh "because she wants to go for a walk with you. Which in case you didn't get it is Luna's way of saying she likes you" I said. He looked shocked but I seen the corner of his mouth form a smile and blush spread across his cheeks

"why don't you get some lunch and maybe go ask Luna if she wants to go for a walk with you after dinner!" I said with a laugh, he was in a sort of daze as he nodded and walked into the hall. I didn't see Draco at the Slytherin table so I took a seat by harry who sat at the Gryffindor table "hey Mione" he said "hey" I said and just as we started a conversation Pansy and Blaise cane sprinting up to us "Draco's in the hospital ward!" Pansy cried. I jumped up "WHAT!" I shouted

"he fell and took what miss pomfrey said was some sort of muggle seizure, he hasn't come out of it yet" Blaise said, my head began to spin as I ran down to the hospital ward. I threw open the doors to see Draco laying on one of the beds foaming at the mouth "DRACO!" I screamed as I ran up to him but was held back by one of the assistant nurses. I screamed and shouted as I tried to wriggle my way out of her grip "LET ME SEE HIM" I cried "WHATS HAPPENING, WHATS CAUSED THIS!" I screamed. Blaise ran in and took the position of the nurse "LET ME SEE HIM!!!" I cried again

"mr Zabini please take her out, this is far too much for her. We will let you know when we stabilise Mr Malfoy" miss pomfrey said "No! No! Get off me, let me see him!!" I said, tears running down my cheeks as Blaise took me out. The doors were sealed off but that didn't stop me from banging on them until I couldn't anymore. After that I sat in silence, tears still running down my cheeks as the others sat against the wall.

After I stopped hitting the door Pansy got up and walked towards me, she took my hand and as another wave of tears began to form; pulled me into the tightest hug she could. We sat like that until the doors were opened again "Miss Zabini you can co-" was all the nurse got out before I had bolted into the room and sat down beside Draco's bed. He was warm, his pale face covered in sweat. "Oh Draco.." I said, grabbing his hand "what caused the seizure?" Blaise asked the nurse

"we aren't sure, all we know is whatever it is...nearly killed him" she said, my head shot up "so you mean this was caused with the intention to kill him!?" I said "from what we gathered with the mixture of non human toxins yes" the nurse said. I began to cry more, sinking down beside his bed.

I sat by his bed the rest of the day, he was stable but he was showing no signs of waking up. It was about 10pm and the others had went to bed, I refused to leave and miss pomfrey told me I could stay if I wanted to. I hadn't let go of his hand since earlier and it had become stiff, I didn't care though. I wasn't letting go until I could feel him hold it back, but I could feel my eyes becoming heavy and before I knew it I was asleep.

When I woke up my cheeks were streaked with tears and my eyes were red, I felt a hand slowly stroke my hair and when I lifted my head Draco was sitting upright. I dived at him, giving him the tightest hug I could "I'm so glad your okay" I said, my hands place on his cheeks "they thought you were going to die" I cried "well I didn't, I'm here and I'm staying here" he said, wrapping his hands round me as he pulled me into a hug

"Oh Draco it's nice to see you up" pomfrey said as she walked in "how are you feeling?" She asked "fine miss, just a bit of a light head" he said "when will he be getting out?" I asked "most likely tomorrow, we have a few people from saint Mungos coming over to examine you Draco, we can't detect what was used to put you in the state you were so they are bringing over some more advanced technology" she said as she checked the records

"Miss Zabini, it's 7:30. Draco is completely fine and alive. I'll allow you to visit during lunch with your friends but for now, why don't you get ready for class" pomfrey said before heading out of the room. I looked at Draco, my eyes filled with worry "don't worry, I'll be fine. Go tell the others I'm alive and I'll see you all at lunch" he said, kissing my forehead. I nodded, letting go of his hand for the first time since yesterday "bye Draco" I said, walking out "I love you!" He said "I love you more" I said back, closing the door and walking to our dorm.

"Do they know what did it yet?" Blaise said for the 109th time since I told them Draco was up "no, all I know is it was some weird mix of things" I replied as we walked down to the hospital rooms. When we opened the doors Draco was surrounded by doctors "ah, you must be miss zabini, Draco hasn't stopped talking about you" one of the doctors said, I smiled awkwardly, making my way along with the others to Draco's side. The others gave hugs and asked how he was, as they done so I noticed a families pair of eyes.

"Pansy" i hissed "yea?" She asked "does he look familiar?" I asked, pointing to one of the doctors "a bit, I recognise the eyes but that's it" She said "doesn't he look like the guy from the pub?" I said, she looked a bit closer "maybe he has a brother?" She said. I nodded, my eyes still glued to him. He looked over and gave me a smile. I smiled back and turned away. A million thoughts running through my head.
