"Holy shit. I knew it was you. I think I finally found my daughter again!!!"

"And I found my real father!!!" I yell as I run up to Jonah and give him the biggest hug. I could feel the tears running down my face. I could even feel the tears running down Jonah's face as well.

I take his story into consideration and I back away from the hug.

"Wait..." I say, giving Jonah a scolding look.

Jonah looks at me with a slightly pale face one again.

"Why the hell did you abandon me and jump off a damn roof?!?!" I ask.

"I am so sorry, Jasmine. I just wasn't in a good place at the time. I didn't wanna live without Jules and I didn't think I could raise you by myself. I'm sorry." He says shyly.

"I'm kidding," I say trying to look at the bright side of everything. "On the bright side, you didn't have to raise me as an infant, and we somehow found our way back to each other."

"Phew! I thought you were gonna leave!" Jonah says with an eager tone of voice.

"Why would I leave Jonah? I just got here. And now that I know you're my dad, I feel more comfortable living here."

"Well... I'm not exactly your dad," He says with an unfortunate look.

"What do you mean?" I say, looking puzzled.

I thought Jonah was my real dad. I thought he and my mom... you know... "did it" together. But how was it not him?

"Well, your mom and I weren't the ones who conceived you. Your mom was part of it though."

"No wonder I look nothing like you!" I yell a little too eagerly.

As obvious as it is most of the time, I always try to make the best out of every bad situation. There's just no point in being such a "Debby Downer" all the time.

"Well, if you didn't conceive with my mom, then who did?" I ask curiously.

"It was Zach."

"Who?? Who's this Zach?"

"He's the other guy who almost married your mom. We don't need to talk about him."

"Why?"

"He's not a very good person. You don't wanna know what he did to your mother. It caused her a lot of pain in her life." He said with a sad look on his face.

I wanted to know every little detail about this Zach guy. I'm sure he couldn't be that bad of a person, especially after all of the years that have gone by. Since Jonah wouldn't tell me who he was, I decided to look him up. Nothing. All that came up were a bunch of news stories accusing him of attempted murder. I avoided them because I knew it wasn't him. He didn't even look anything like me.

The next morning, I decided to wake up early and head to the store. I had to find some finishing touches for my room such as a brush and a few small decorations that I wanted to include.

I fix myself a quick breakfast that consisted of toast with cream cheese. After eating, I go into my room and find a quick outfit to put on. I end up choosing a royal blue hoodie with some black Adidas pants, as well as some Adidas ultra boost shoes.

Before I headed out the door, I left Jonah a note so he wouldn't have to worry about where I was.

Hey, Jonah.
If i'm gone when you wake up, then i'm still at the store. Had to get a few things for my room. If you need anything, shoot me a text.
Jasmine H.M.

I left the note on the kitchen counter next to Jonah's coffee maker, and I was out the door.
