Kankuro had slept though the whole night and even though the middle of the next day. By the time he was up Akamaru had replaced Kiba and the younger one was getting dressed in clothes from Kankuro's closet. Kankuro watched slightly and rubbed his eyes, yawning loudly and smiled a little tiredly. He sat up slowly and let's the big dog.
"Watcha up to, Kiba?" Kankuro asked.
"Just looking for some clothes is all, why?" Kiba asked back.
"Just curious is. Can I take you around Suna? I wanna you to try some food here," the older one suggested.
"I'd love that~" he hummed softly and smiled.
Kankuro slowly got up and he noticed that the pieces of puppets were somewhat organized. He smiled softly and gets dressed with his normal black on black outfit. Then he started to do his face paint. The other watched diligently before looked around. Once Kankuro had finished up he stuck on his hat and grabbed out an out fit for the younger one. He slowly hands him black pants and a basic white T-shirt. There wasn't much special about it. He put it on and watched as Akamaru got up. Kankuro smiled a little and walked out of the room to let the younger one followed. The way Kiba had his nose nuzzled into the clothes made him tilt his head a bit.
"What are you doing, Mutt?" Kankuro smiled.
"The shirt smells good..." Kiba mumbled softly.
"You're so weird."
Kankuro led Kiba outside and started to walked around the sand. It was much different than Konoha—hotter, dustier, less crowded. But another thing that he did notice was some of the different looks he got. He wasn't sure why it was, maybe it was because he wasn't from around there. Maybe because of Akamaru. Did they not like Inuzuka? What the hell..Kiba thought and made a face. Kankuro noticed the look, obviously the younger one had no sense of hiding his faces.
"Hey, ignore them. That the only way you're going to get around this village." Kankuro whispered.
"Why are they even glaring? I didn't do anything?" Kiba whispered angrily back.
"Yeah you did, in their eyes. You look different, seem different, have a different ass dog...so therefor you are different and that's offensive to people here." The older one said.
"That's bullshit." Kiba said, slightly louder.
"Yeah. But I warned you. Now do you wanna try my favorite hamburger steak place or a steamed bun place?" He asked.
"I wanna slap some sense into these judgemental ass-"
"Kiba, hey. Ignore them for me. Please?"
Kankuro watched as Kiba nodded. The sand nin had already put together that the Inuzuka's tend not to have much patience and that had quite a mouth on them. Not something that was good for a place like Sunagakure. He still found himself crazy for the mutt though and it made him smile. He heard the boy give his answer and he led him to the hamburger steak restaurant. Kankuro looked at the still pouring boy and smiled. He ordered his own food and then let Kiba get his order in. Then he went to sit down and Kiba followed close, sitting right next to the other and Akamaru sat between them on the floor. Kankuro set his hand on the table and waited for the food. He felt a hand grab his gloved hand he quickly moved it away, shoving it into his pocket and made a panicked look at Kiba.
"D..don't do that. Someone could see." Kankuro mumbled.
"I made sure no one was looking. Kankuro, if you want this to work. You have to let yourself open up a little." Kiba said back.
"I..I will..I swear I will b.but right now please let me just tell my family first..." he sounded scared as he talked—he finally had what he wanted for so long and now he was too afraid to take it.
"If you tell your family. Kankuro, tell them. You should tell them tonight." Kiba said and watched as they brought over the food.
"Alright.." Kankuro nodded and watched them walk away and he looked at the food a bit, "Alright I will..j.just let me figure out how to do it..I want us to work out..." he whispered.
"Me too." Kiba said softly and started to eat.
"I'm only doing it because of you...I..I really like you Kiba..." Kankuro muttered and started to eat as well.
Kiba smiled softly when he heard that from Kankuro. They both ate and smiled at each other a bit. He sighed softly and watched a little girl come over and look at Akamaru. Kiba smiled brightly at the little girl and nodded as she started to pet the big dog. Then he saw a girl come over, he assumed she was the mother.
"Oh she's fine, Akamaru is very nice." Kiba said gently.
"I'm just her older sister and I'm gotta make sure she's okay. I'm sure he's a good dog," the girl said softly and looked at them.
"Doggy!" The little girl squealed and hugged Akamaru softly.
"Oh wow...you're Kankuro-Sama." The girl said softly to the other.
"Um, yeah. Hi." Kankuro said awkwardly.
"You are so amazing. And you're the Kazekage's older brother. Wow, you're family is so strong." She smiled brightly.
Kiba watched as she seemed to have her little fangirl moment over Kankuro. She was even offering to be a suitor which made Kiba smirk a bit. Even with as awkward as Kankuro was he was able to let the girl down without being rude. She bowed quickly and then takes her sister out of the place to the let the boys eat. Kiba finished first and smiled slightly, looking over Kankuro a bit.
"Mmm get that a lot, Kankuro-Sama?" Kiba laughed a little.
"I haven't been out much recently. M.maybe people do think do me of some kind of hero after that whole deal. But I hate when people are so formal with me. A.and girls being on me..." Kankuro sighed.
"Mhm I know, you're so awkward. But ya know what, thanks for this. The food is good." He hummed.
"Of course," the older one nodded slowly and smiled slowly.
