So you know those cheesy cliches where they grow up together and realize they like each other when they're teens or something like that, wellll I'm a sucker for those! Enjoy!

Age Five:
"Class please give a warm welcome to your newest classmate, Kim Taehyung!"
Hoseok looked up from his coloring book to see his teachers hand placed on a scared looking little boy. The boy had on a pair of red high tops with black sweats and a white Mickey Mouse shirt, he held his hands tightly in front of him and was bitting his bottom lip really hard, his eyes were glossy from the unshed tears he was trying to hold back.
Hoseok and his classmates replied with a quick "Welcome Taehyung." And went back to doing whatever they were doing.
Taehyung stood there feeling like an outcast, he shyly looked up to his new teacher with pleading eyes, the teacher cooed and immediately scooped Taehyung into her arms and hugged him tightly. Taehyung being the shy boy he was quickly hid his face in her neck and began to cry. The teacher carefully scanned the room around to find the right people to set Taehyung with, her eyes stopped when she sees a little Hoseok coloring all by himself in the back of the room and she immediately makes her way to the back of the room with a crying Taehyung in her arms.
She pulls out the empty chair next to Hoseok and sits herself and places Taehyung on her lap, the younger still refuses to move his face from her neck, Hoseok still hasn't looked up from his intense coloring session, he finally looks up when she taps him and she gently smiles at him, " Hobi dear why don't you let Taehyung get one of your coloring pages so he can color too." And Hoseok being the kid he is quickly shuts down her offer with a solid "No." His teacher sighs and gets up and gently pulls Taehyung away from her and sits him down where she was sitting, "Hobi this is Taehyung and I'm kindly asking you to be a good boy and share with Taehyung, can you do that for him?" She asks in a soft stern voice. Not wanting to disappoint his favorite teacher Hoseok reluctantly agrees and gives Taehyung a blank sheet to color. "Good job Hobi!" The teacher praises and gently ushers Taehyung to color, Taehyung refuses, Hoseok stops coloring and looks back and forth between Taehyung and his teacher. He tries to help by giving Taehyung his favorite green crayon, Taehyung looks up to see a cheerful boy smiling at him and he can't help but smile back and takes the crayon and begins to color.
Taehyung and Hoseok now do everything together and have become the best of friends. When it's playtime they grab the building blocks and isolate themselves from everyone else and build their towers, Hoseok claiming that he's building a house for him and Taehyung to live in. Taehyung just shyly smiles and places a wet kiss on Hobis cheek. Hoseok screeches and pushes him away as they burst into a fit of giggles. Snack time Hoseok always bring an extra dessert item that his mom has packed for him for Taehyung since he learned Taehyungs mom couldn't afford to buy him much desserts. Recess, the two boys usually roll around in the soft grass or Hoseok is seen pushing Taehyung on the swings, the teacher notices that everyday Hoseok and Taehyung walk in with a small flower on their hands, turns out at the end of each recess session the boys exchange flowers they pull out from the garden with each other. Nap time, Taehyung refuses to sleep next to anyone that isn't Hoseok. The teacher set up a large beanbag specifically for them where the two boys fall asleep to right next to each other.
The teacher smiles everyday when she sees how open Taehyung has become around Hoseok. The boys are always together and nobody tries to join them because of how protective Hoseok has become with Taehyung. Taehyung didn't want nobody else to join him and Hoseok because he loved receiving all of Hoseoks love and affection.

Age Thirteen:
Hoseok is at Taehyungs house, in his room dressing up to go to prom. It's their middle school prom and both boys are ecstatic, they each have their own dates which is surprising since both boys are always together and don't really talk to anybody else. Hoseok is standing in front of Taehyungs full length mirror trying to tie his tie but has no luck doing so. He groans as he looks at his millionth failed attempt, he spins around to ask Taehyung for help when he mouth drops open at the sight in front of him, Taehyung has on a simple black tuxedo but with the way he has his hair styled made him look older than their age. He flushes as he suddenly wonders what it'll feel like to run his hand through Taehyungs hair. Meanwhile Hoseok is off gaydreaming Taehyung couldn't help but notice how beautiful and adorable the shorter male looked as he struggled to tie his tie. Without saying anything the taller grabs Hoseok by the waist and pulls him closer until their chest and chest and proceeds to do Hoseoks tie.
Both boys were ditched by their dates before prom even began and they decided to skip prom and run around town, eating at their favorite diner, running around in the beach.
Both boys felt something new they couldn't explain that night, but because they didn't know what that feeling was and because they were young they brushed it off as being surprised that for once they had actually cleaned up nice and not worn their usual clothing.
