Hello. Isabelle here. I'm quite worried out of my mind about my friends' story-telling skills, so HERE I AM. Tada. To tell the story to you with my amazing story-telling skills! (Ouch, Jaz. That was true! "Payback!" Amy shouted. What? It was Jaz who offended you, Amy)
Anyways, the monster brought down the club on Ms. Jones, but she was too quick, and she dodged the strike. About 2 seconds later, where she used to be standing was now a meter-deep hole. Ms. Jones signed and tried to talk (*cough reason, cough*) with the monster.
"Please, Megaera. Don't. I don't care if you're a fury or not, but please do not hurt the kids here!"
The monster roared again and raised her club. This time Ms. Jones was a bit too slow. Time seemed to slow down while Megaera brought her club down, and we were horrified.
"Stop!" Jaz screamed.
For a moment, Megaera seemed confused, but she quickly recovered. At least, that had probably saved Ms. Jones' life. As for how Jaz did it, no one knew for sure. (*cough we do now, cough*) Ms. Jones quickly jumped out of the club's way, and in another 2 seconds, another crater appeared where she was standing. Ms. Jones shouted, "Megaera! Please! Don't hurt the children!"
Megaera roared and charged again. Ms. Jones swung the sword in her hand, but Megaera ducked, and slashed Ms. Jones' chest. She stumbled back. I caught her and laid her by the window. I didn't know why but looking at the monster slashing at my friends and the wound on Ms. Jones' chest, I grabbed the sword from Ms. Jones' hand.
The sword didn't feel right in my hands. It felt... Unbalanced. Not right. But it would do. I charged towards Megaera, just in time to block a blow to Amy's thigh. I stumbled backwards by the sheer force of the blow but regained my balance just in time to block another attack.
Lily picked up random objects and threw it at Megaera, yelling: "Hey, stupid!" trying to get her/its attention off me. But Megaera charged with inhuman speed and slammed me into the wall. I stood up dizzily, and saw Megaera's club raised over Jaz, ready to strike the last and fatal blow. "No!" I cried.
What happened next, I had no idea. I saw her club come down and I did the most stupid thing that I have ever done- I jumped in front of Jaz. Then, I only felt pain. An overwhelming surge of pain followed by complete darkness, but not what I expected to feel. I faintly heard Jaz, Lily, Charlie and Amy shout my name, before everything went black.
