I was alone in the house with our little daughter Kaitlynn. Parker had to go to Canada for 3 months so we hadn't seen him for so long.

I missed him a lot and I knew Kaitlynn did to. He would be back in about a month so we had to just roll with it.

Suddenly I got a call.

"Hello?"

"Babe, I get to come home earlier. I don't know exactly when I but I get to go home"  I heard Parker yell in my ear.

"O my god, that's amazing!"

"I really want to see you and Kaitlynn again. I really missed you guys"

I smiled and played with the keys on the table.

"We miss you to" I said before we ended the call and I brought Kaitlynn to school.

*At 4:00 pm*

After I picked Kaitlynn up from school we went to the playground. I was sitting on a bench while Kaitlynn played on the swings.

Suddenly I heard a yell and I ran up to Kaitlynn. She had fallen of one of the swings.

"Where does it hurt?" I asked her while she cried into my arms.

"M-My arm" She sobbed.

I lifted her head up and wiped her tears away with my thumbs.

"It's gonna be al-"

"Daddy!!!" I heard her yell.

I looked over my shoulder and saw Parker walking up to us. Kaitlynn ran up to him and jumped in his arms.

"Hey little girl" He said while he looked her in the eyes.

I stood up still in shock of what happened.

"Hey" was the only thing I could bring out.

He put Kaitlynn down and wrapped me up in a hug. I felt tears stream down my face. "Hey don't cry, you're gonna make me cry" He smiled. I quickly wiped my tears away. "I'm just happy that you're here" I blushed still feeling the same butterflies in my stomach as I did 7 years ago.
