The trampoline

"I remember the first time we laid here thogheter" I said to Ty. He smiled to me. He brushed some hair out of his face and I giggled. "I still love you as much as I did back then" He cupped my cheek with his hand and I held it. I felt the warmth of his skin against mine and felt safe.

*Flashback to 3 years ago*

I just moved to America. I walked up to the bug house we had bought and for some reason I didn't feel comfortable.  Our old house was way smaller and I had never lived in such a big house. We walked in and started unpacking some stuff. The next day the neighbours came by to welcome us. There were 2 parents and a guy who was standing shy in the back. "Ty come say hi to our new neighbours" the woman said. She was probably his mom. "Hi" He said.  When he looked up I looked him straight in the eyes and I immediately looked away. My parents sat down with his parents and we were both forced to sit in the kitchen. "So what's your name?" He asked me trying to start up a conversation.  "Uhm... It's y/n" I said. "Nice name" "Well thanks I got it for my birthday" He laughed. I was glad I broke the ice a little with that. "You're funny" He said. I smiled at him. We talked for a long time but then his parents said they were gonna go. Before he left he asked me:"Uhm I thought maybe I could have your number" I laughed at how nervous he was to ask that.  I wrote my number on the back of his hand and followed him back into the living room. About 2 minutes later I got a text from him :"Be outside at midnight" I was confused and asked him "Why?" "Just be there ;)" I was still confused but decided to come cause I was way too curious.  When it was almost midnight I started to climb out of my window. When I was about 2 meters from the ground I missed a step and fell down. But instead of landing on the cold ground I landed in someone's arms. I opened my eyes and looked in Ty's eyes. "Well that's was an big entrance" He whispered. We both chuckled and he put me down. "Thanks for catching me" I said. "No problem" He laughed. He grabbed my hand and ran into his garden. He climbed on top of the trampoline and told me to come on to. We jumped around for a while but then we both got tired. We laid down on the trampoline thogheter and looked at the stars. "Are you cold?" He asked me when he saw me shiver. "Yes a little bit" I said. He got of the trampoline and got a huge blue fuzzy blanket. "Do you think this is gonna keep us warm?" He said holding the blanket up. I laughed at him and nodded.  He came to sit next to me and pit his arm around me to wrap the blanket around me. But he didn't pull his arm back and I can't lie I liked his arm around me. I snuggled up closer to him and we both laid down watching the stars.  After a while I looked at him and I noticed he had looked at me the entire time. "You're really beautiful" He said looking me in the eyes. I blushed a little and smiled at him. "You're not ugly yourself Ty" I said. He laid his hand on top of mine and I looked down at them and then up at him. I was biting my lip cause I was nervous of what was gonna happen. He leand in and closed his eyes. I kissed him back and we didn't break apart till we heard someone shout from the street.

*Back to reality *

We still watch the stars togheter in the same spot every Friday. I'm still not really sure what happened back then but I know it was amazing. He kissed the top of my head. I snuggled up against him and expected him to hold me.  But he sat up. I also sat up and looked at him confused.  He just smiled and reached in his pocket. "Y/n can I ask you something?" He asked. I was confused of why he asked that and just nodded.  "Well...You make me the happiest man in the world. I couldn't ask for a better girl to have as my girlfriend. So y/n will you marry me?" He opened up a black velvet box with a diamond ring in it. I covered my mouth with my hands and tears started filling up my eyes. "Yes!" I said. "Yes!" I said again but louder. He laughed at my excitement and put the ring on my shaking finger. I wrapped my arms around his neck and we both fell back. We laughed and he pecked a kiss on my lips.  We laid down. We hugged eachother and after a while Ty fell asleep. I couldn't sleep cause I was staring at the ring and couldn't believe I could almost call him my husband.
