Xavier was laying on his bed, buried deep in memories of his sweet little sister when his phone started to ring.
He knew who it was. He didn't have to look at the caller ID. Gena had called him back. Thank God, Xavier thought. I am so going to yell at her. He picked up his phone and pressed the green button. "Gena," he whispered, "I love you."
"I love you too Xay," Gena sobbed. "I'm so sorry... I love you." And then she was gone. The phone cut off, and Xavier collapsed on his pillow in sobs.
