Enough

Never Enough

That's what you tell me.

Not pretty enough

Not skinny enough

Not smart enough

Not polite enough

Not good enough.

Constant reminders.

Not depressed enough

Not stressed enough

Not sick enough

Not messed up enough

For them to notice.

I can't write

I can't sing

I can't cook

I can't do anything right

In your eyes.

But in my eyes.

I'm doing my best.

I sing loud in the shower

I write what I feel

I can cook mac 'n' cheese.

I like how I look

My future is bright.

I may be sick,

But I'm strong enough

To work through it.

I respect people

Who deserve it.

I'm strong.

In my eyes,

I am enough.
