Harry's POV

Taylor. Taylor! TAYLOR!

Those were the only words in my brain as I paced back and forth in the living room. Casper was sitting on the couch, eyes staring at the carpet.

I regretted everything I've done yesterday from being jealous of how Taylor looks at J to letting Giselle kiss me. I ran my fingers through my hair anxiously.

Taylor was nowhere to be found. Not at home. Not anywhere. Avalon and Randy were missing too. From what Casper had told me, he went to their school to fetch them as usual but they weren't there anymore.

I kept trying to recall anything that happened the day before.

Giselle sat next to me on the bench as I watched Taylor walk off. I turned to look at her and tried to forget our conversation.

She looked distracted.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

She started sobbing. "Daryl... He..."

"What did he do?" I sat up straight to show that I was all ears.

"My friend. She sent me this picture of him and this other girl kissing. And it's just..." She started crying. "We kinda fought yesterday again after the babysitting thing. He kept saying he wanted to do it alone so he could get all the money for himself. But he was just being so selfish... And he left the house. He probably went to find that chick to replace me."

"Wow..." I bit my lip. It was not really unexpected news. Her crying made me feel sad for her. Stupid Daryl.

I glanced at where Taylor was. She was playing happily in the sandbox with J and Lux. Ugh.

I took a deep breath and told Giselle, "You know what? I will go talk to him right now so we can clear this off, okay?"

"But... Would he even listen?"

I thought for a moment. "Worth a shot."

-

I banged on Daryl's door. "OPEN UP!"

"Fuck off..." I heard a groggy shout.

"YOU BETTER GET OUT HERE NOW!" I yelled.

"What the hell is your problem, man?" I heard shuffling towards the door. The door unlocked.

Daryl stood half-naked before me. "Ugh, it's you." He didn't even gave Giselle one look. I saw a girl sitting on the couch with a lace dress, playing a video game. My anger rose.

"What the hell is your problem?" I poked his chest. "You cheated on Giselle when she did nothing wrong but tell you what's right. What did she do to deserve you?"

"Look, man, I don't care what this bitch told you but get the fuck of our business, okay?" There was a strong smell of alcohol and smoke all over him. He was clearly drunk.

"What did you just call me?" Giselle croaked. Her eyes were red.

"I called you a bitch..." His eyes widened. "Bitch."

She pursed her lips tightly, trying to hold it together. "What did I do to make you call me that, huh? Am I really that bad to you? Did I not give you enough? I gave you money to spend but spend it all on useless shitty drugs and I gave you all my time but you always don't seem to appreciate it. And I'm just... I'm done, Daryl. I'm done. We are over!" She gave him one last look and stomped off, crying.
