"Sorry for ruining your masterpiece earlier" Fawn said.

They had been walking for a while now and the silence was getting to Fawn. She didn't really know that much about her new friend. There weren't that many friends to be made in the forest. And she had no other way of getting out of the forest.

"Don't worry about it. I wasn't really feeling it" Ms. Spider said.

Fawn smiled in return. She wasn't the artsy type so she had no idea what to say next.

"What do I say" Fawn thought to herself.

The branches of the trees were well spread out. Each overlapping the other so it was easier for Fawn to walk towards their destination. Where there was no path, Ms Spider made a path out of web.

The trees grew in thickness the deeper they went into the forest. Hence, it grew darker. There was barely any light and it was hard for Fawn to see. She had tripped a couple of times and had nearly fallen off the branch.

She let her thoughts wander while she walked. The fatigue was setting in and she needed to think of something else besides her aching feet. She thought about Nyx and knew that she would be worried about her. And that she'd probably be on her way to find her.

"Maybe I should have stayed where I was. It would have been easier for her to find me" Fawn thought. "But then again the forest isn't the most friendly place to wait around in".

Fawn thought about Tinkerbell and Rosetta and the rest of her friends. Wondering how long it would take to get back to them. And she thought about Pixie Hollow and everyone in it. She even thought about her animals and how much she missed them. And about Cheese, who had been named Cheese because he came running whenever they said cheese. Fawn smiled to herself.

Suddenly she stopped in her tracks. And looked up at Ms. Spider.

"How can I understand you" Fawn suddenly said out loud.

"What do you mean?" Ms Spider said. "Is the lack of light getting to you already?"

Before she could say anything else, something hit the back of Fawn's head and she lost consciousness. The next time Fawn woke up she was tied to some branches. She guessed she had been out a long time because she was feeling really hungry. There was sunlight coming in from above and her eyes couldn't focus on anything. Her head was throbbing where she was struck.

"Wakey wakey sunshine" someone said.

"Ms. Spider, is that you?" Fawn said as she tried to focus her eyes. She blinked a couple of times as her eyes adjusted to the light.

"The name's Black Feather darling" Black Feather said.

"What do you want" Fawn said as she struggled against the vines that held her against the branch.

"Blue dust" Black Feather smiled.

"What do you want with blue dust?" Fawn asked as she looked at her surroundings.

She was in room of sorts. There was a floor, the walls were made of tree branches and there was no roof. Black Feather was seated in the middle. And beyond the shadows, she could she more spiders sitting and patiently waiting. She looked back at Black Feather.

"That is no concern of yours" Black Feather said as motioned for one of the spiders.

Fawn saw Black Feather say something to the other spider, who then returned with some water and berries for Fawn. And soon after they left her alone, tied to the branch.

Fawn was still feeling a little light-headed and soon drifted off to sleep. The next time she woke up, there was some commotion. She looked overhead and saw Hawks circling above. One of the Hawks had landed on the floor a few feet in front of her. Something about the Hawk seemed familiar, Fawn realized it was Hannah. She had grown up a lot since she last saw her.
