funeral

its time to say goodbye to loved ones but it doesn't mean they are gone forever.

Shannens p.o.v.

Today was the day we would farewell a friend, today was the day my friends and I would speak in front of the croud for our friend.

I got ready for the funeral by curling my hair a little and a little make up and my black dress. I was still mourning the loss of my friend and today ill get to see Nikita and Aimee again. I was to sad to meet up with them all week so im a little nervous.

When I arrived I looked around and saw a seat free next to Aimee so I went to sit next to her. Before sitting down I hugged my friends and said "you ready?" I was scared about messing up my speech but I was more scared about maybe loosing someone else again. When it was time for the talk I stood up with aa lot of courage and gave a little smile. I was the last to speak so here we go.

"Piyumi was and is still a great best friend we had a lot of memories and laughs.We had great times and It is sad to see her leave us like that but I hope she will rest in peace. You are an amazing person and I hope that the rest of your life in heaven will be better. Rest in Paradise Piyumi." At the end of my speech I couldn't stop crying. I was hurt that now Piyumi was really gone.. I missed her but I couldn't keep living this way.

Later when Piyumi was in the ground and all that I heard was 'wish you were here' by Avril Lavigne just kept running through my head.
