The cold night breeze touches Addy on the cheek while she was staring blankly on the ceiling. The sound of the clock ticking every second it counts filled the air."I need to sleep. Brain, come on. It's 4 a.m. It's my first day of work in just a few hours, I- and now I'm talking to my self. Great"
Addy muttered as she glanced at the clock. A million of thoughts raced through her mind. Should she still try to sleep when it's just hours away from her first day of work. Or should she start preparing to begin her day.
"Screw it, im sleeping"
She uttered in frustration and turn to the right side of the bed and glimpsed at the empty space beside her right before she dozed off.
RING RING RING- the alarm went off when the clock strikes 6.00
a.m.Addy moaned and stretched. She trudged her feet as it touches the cold bedroom floor to her bathroom.
"Do i really have to wake up this early"
She mumbled lazily as she stared at the mirror while brushes her teeth. Addy is an attractive looking young woman in her early twenties.
Despite having man throwing themselves at her, she has never been in a relationship. She's quite skeptical about relationship, love and man. She thought that love is ridiculous and it doesn't lasts. Addy is quite complicated. She knew that love exists for SOME people but she didn't think that it'd exist for her. Odd believe- it is owing to her parents' marriage that fed her those skeptical thoughts. She grew up listening and watching as her parents fought. She had lived her entire childhood with the sounds of screaming and crying. She thought her disastrous experience ended when her parents decided to get a divorce. However, it only gotten worse- her mother always goes on a date with the wrong guy, typically the abusive type or the perverted type who always tries to get on with her. Owing to that reason, she had to work multiple of jobs only to afford living seperately from her mother and her boyfriend.
She's disgusted by men-especially one who were always trying to sweep her off of her feet when she knew it wasn't even a genuine effort. They're probably just desperate to get laid. However, she's on good terms with other men who's not trying to woo her. She never tallks to guys except to fight with them when they're fooling around with her friends-who have a different perspective on love than Addy's. But when she was 15, she met a guy that is uninterested in her. He is the only one who doesn't look at her with the intention of wooing. He is funny, creative, likeable, strong, supportive, tall, a bit tan, and has a "ted mosby" hair. His name was Morgan. When they're together, their days will be filled with laughter and wonderfulness. Morgan contributes to stir Addy's belief in "men are trash". He restored her perspective on men. Since then, she has not hated guys as much as she did back then. Though she still doesn't believe in love. Which is quite depressing and lonely. She still has interest in some men, judging by their personalities first; typically a male's characteristics in movies where she had a glimpse of a perfect gentleman-which no doubt, she isn't going to meet in real life. She wouldn't pursue a relationship still despite her loneliness at times, given that she's living alone.
Addy has a brunnete wavy hair, big eyes, naturally a bit plump pink lips, rather slim but have quite a chubby cheek. She's having an internship for her college this very day. She's a law student, who will be attending an internship at Clarke Willmott Solicitors at St. Helen's Place in London-a few minutes from her flat which she worked hard for. It's quarter after seven now, and she had just finished her breakfast. She contemplated before she left the house but then she gets in the car and drove off to work. Through out the drive, she has thought of a retreat for myriad of times but she is not a quitter. Surely she is many thing: a timid, an introvert, brilliant and generally a nice and well adjusted person. Abarrent, if so to say, quick-tempered but also likes to have a good laugh. Her everyday mood is getting angry at something and laughing too much which is really just peculiar. She tried to convince herself that it'd be alright despite the dreadful butterflies in her stomach and her trembling hands that says otherwise.
