Ruby's pov

Its been a couple of weeks since my argument with yang we had the dance  but nothing that interesting happened we then got to pick missions to go on and thanks to ozpin we get to go to the south to find romans base but we have to go with dr. Ooblec the ride takes a while but we eventually get there and begin to look around but find nothing so we make a camp in an abandoned building i take first watch but nothing happened so i wake up yang and try to go to sleep but before i can i am tugged on by zwei "what do you want boy" i say and he runs off so i follow when i get to the bottom i see he is going to the bathroom "zwei its a waste land you can go anywhere its not safe out here" i say and he barks i then here some voices so i go to investigate i peek around a corner and see two white fang guards "did you hear that barking" one asks "its probably just a beowolf lets go this place gives me the creeps" the other says they then go through a door i begin to follow but then the ground shakes and falls out from under me i stand up "who are you and what are you doing here" a guard asks me "um im a friend of roman and i fell through the ground" i say "you're a friend of torchwick" the guard asks skeptically "yes i am" i say proudly "alright come with us but don't try anything" the guard says "understood lead the way" i say they then take me to roman "hey boss we found something" the guard says "is it good or bad perry cause let me tell ya I've had a day" he says "um its a little girl" the guard says roman then pokes his head from the cart "oh ruby what are you doing here" he says "wait she really is your friend" the guard asks confused "you didn't believe me" i ask "well you did fall from the ceiling" he says "ok fair" i say he then walks off "so ruby why are you here" he asks again "well its not just me" i say "you didn't bring your team down here did you" he asks "no i went out on my own" i say "ok but why are you here in this abandoned city" he asks "well my team kinda wants to put you in jail" i say "and what about you" he asks "i just wanted to see you again" i say "well aren't you sweet" he says "so what are you doing down here" i ask "well i would tell you but my boss told me not to" he says "is your boss that woman i saw at the dance the one with fire swords" i ask "yeah cinder she's so annoying but her little kids are even worse" he says "what kids" i ask "well there's the street rat named emerald and her little orphan boy mercury" he explains then tenses as if just realising what he said "wait emerald and mercury are criminals" i say shocked "shit ruby don't tell anyone i said that" he says "well thank you for telling me" i say "don't tell anyone i told you they are scary people and i don't want to be on their bad side" he says "understood i won't tell anyone it was you I'll say it was perry" i say "now your getting the hang of it im so proud" he says rubbing my head making me blush a bit "hey don't treat me like a kid" i say "then what should i treat you as" he asks "i don't know an adult" i say "oh you want to be treated like an adult" he says a strange smirk forming on his face "yes i do" i say "ok then" he says he then puts his arms around me and pulls me closer "you know adults do things someone your age shouldn't know about" he says trying to embarrass me and its working but i decide to fight back by wrapping my arms around him "you're gonna have to try harder than that" i say moving close to his face "oh didn't think you had it in you but now im curious as to how far you're willing to go" he says making our faces almost touching "oh you'll be surprised how far im willing to go" i say and im about to go all the way but an explosion goes off and we back away "what was that" roman yells "its hunters they've found us" a white fang soldier yells "i guess your friends found us ruby" roman says "really i was in the middle of something" i whisper to myself "you should go don't want them knowing you were safe" roman says "right" i then speed off to where the explosion came from "ruby" my group yells when they see me "hi guys" i say "are you ok" yang asks "im fine but i found some things out" i say "what did you find out" blake asks "do you know emerald and mercury" i ask "what about them" yang asks "they are working for the woman i fought at the dance" i explain "well this is indeed news" ooblec says "we'll deal with them later but right now lets deal with torchwick" yang says "agreed" blake says we then all run to the center "everyone get on because this train is leaving the station" roman says through the intercom "guess we're catching a train" yang says we then run to the train and jump on it
