3rd POV Monday - 8:10 pm
It stayed silent. Quiet. No one dared to speak to Klaus, he'd stare off and never speak to you or would completely break and put his anger on you. No one spoke to the family as they kept quiet and ignored everyone, they'd only converse with each other if needed. Yet, they stayed quiet. All wishing they had prevented the twins risk of being taken. They wish they could turn back time and save them. But, they couldn't.
After the news of the catastrophe spread, everyone was doing their very best to get the twins back, not only because Klaus told/threatened them too but also because the twins treated many equally and in such civil manners. Sometimes. Everyone adored them. The Salvatore Brothers, Katherine/Elena did. Marcel did. Everyone did. Not once have they mistreated anyone and if they did, you provoked them.
Now, no one has told Hope yet. No one could bear to see her breakdown severely. It'd break their hearts. But Elijah, Hayley And Klaus were discussing over it, Elijah wanted to tell his niece but Klaus didn't. He couldn't bear to have another one of his children go missing.
Now —>
"She has to know, Klaus. She needs to know her siblings won't be coming home until we can do something—." Elijah spoke before getting cut off.
"She doesn't need to know until we find them—."
"When will that be, Klaus? Hmm?" Hayley questions, her arms crossed, "Who knows how long until they'll turn up, how long until we'll find them, how long until you break and give up—!"
"That's enough!" Klaus's voice bellowed as he stood from his seat, "To correct you, I will never give up on my children! Do you understand! They're mychildren, the ones that will take after me, make our family stronger and keep our legacy continuing!"
"That's all you care about! Your legacy and your kingdom, making sure your name stays the strongest. What about what they want?! Huh?! What about what they desire?!"
Before Klaus could answer, Elijah finally had enough and shut the two up with his stern and loud voice.
"That's enough!" The ex-'lovers' glare at each other, "Our kin are gone, we don't have enough time to discuss what the children want. What matters right now is that they are home and they are safe." He looks at the two, "We will discuss what they want when they are back, but right now, my niece and nephew are gone. I want them home, safely."
Klaus growls under his breath as he turns to leave the room but stops dead in his tracks as he notices his young one standing right outside the room. Very aware of the situation. Hearing every word, everyone had said. Hayley gasps quietly as Elijah sighs. Klaus, in an attempt to comfort her, reaches out for her shoulder only for it to be slapped away by her hand.
"They're-they're gone? And-and you weren't going to tell me?" Hope questions with a quivering lip, hurt in her voice and evident on her face.
