Hope's POV Thursday - 9:46 pm
"Don't be afraid, Hope."
I gasp as I sit up from my bed—Wait, this isn't my bed.. where am I? I clench a pillow close to my chest as I looked around. It was a dark room, filled with old furniture and chairs. It was lit up with candles and a fire pit, I felt cold and dizzy. What had happened?, I questioned.
"Hi, Hope." I turn my head and see Uncle Kol.
"Uncle Kol!" I yell enthusiastically as I try to get out of bed only to get held down by some invisible force.
"You have to stay in bed, Hope. Just for a little longer." He sighs as he sits on the bed, his hands behind his back. "I've got you a surprise."
My eyes lit up, "Really?! What is it, Uncle Kol?!"
"Ah Ah Ah." He moves his finger side to side, "I want a kiss first."
I giggle as I kiss his cheek and hug him.
"Ah, that's better." I let him go, "Are you ready?"
I nod excitedly as he chuckles and pulls out a gray stuffed bunny with a little box in its paws.
"Here, open it." He hands me the bunny and box making me hug him before opening the box.
I gasp, "A necklace.. like Y/n and Dominic's."
He nods with a small smile, "Yes. They wanted to give it to you on your birthday but they were.."
I look up to see him staring down at his hands sadly. I hug him tightly as he hugs back, his chin set on my head as I snuggle into his chest.
"I miss them too, Uncle Kol." I whisper softly as I felt his chest move up and down lightly.
I've missed them quite a lot.
—POV change - Y/n's— Friday -
"I miss my pup.." I had thought as images of Hope, my half sister, flashed in my head.
My fingers began to fiddle with my necklace, the necklace my mother gave my brother and I before she had passed. He had the exact replica of it and he's never took it off since, as neither have I. It was way too special for us to ever take off.
'Knock knock'
I stare aimlessly into wonder as I hear the door crack open making me swiftly throw a sharpened pencil at whoever it was and have them stand still in surprise as they stared at the pencil two inches away from their face. I look over and see Edward, which caught me by surprise but I didn't show.
