*Flashback- 10 years ago*

Fires flashed and stretched around as a small blonde child sat at her knees in the center, crying out for her mother and father confused to why they hadn't come to save her she continued to cry. A loud man could be heard as he screamed vulgar words at the young girl, blaming her for the weakness of his wife and of her betrayal.

"It's your fault!"
"You're just a sightless waste of space!"
"You've ruined the todoroki name!"

Covering her ears the small girl simply shook as she continued to cry out for her mother and father, the house she had been raised up in slowly burning to the ground as she could do nothing but watch. Walking up the large man wrapped his hands around the girl's throat as he sneered at her. "Ever come near this home or anyone of this family and I'll kill you with my own hands." Looking up at him frightened she blinked a few times as her pale white eyes stared emotionless, throwing her down he walked away leaving the fires to slowly die away. The young female promising one day she would become strong enough. Strong enough to be considered more than just some weak blind girl, that she would be the #1 hero even if it killed her.

*Present Time*

Lila's P.O.V:

Groaning a little as she heard the alarm on her bedside table began to blare obnoxiously, the petite looking female reached over smacking her hand onto it shutting the sound off. Slowly rising up from the bed she shook her head a little yawning softly, looking to the window she saw it was still pitch black as she sighed before sliding out of her warm heaven. Stretching her body out attempting to wake herself up more, she stumbled on a few books left upon the floor that night as she immediately fell onto the floor with a loud squeal. Hearing quick footsteps before the sound of the door opening her guardian Alexis walked to stand in front of her, looking down at the girl as if she was stupid before she rolled her eyes a little "it's 4 am in the morning! Why are you awake??" Rubbing her neck sheepishly Lila slowly pushed herself up before standing before the taller female "I'm starting my training today Lexi.." realizing that the older girl shook her head before switching on the lights of the room, leaving her be as she could return back to her rest "Fine. But be cautious of everything around you and be safe." Smiling a little the blonde girl nodded quickly before making her way towards her closet, quickly changing into a simple black tank top and a pair of black Nike shorts.

Checking to make sure she had everything she needed for the time that she'll be out and about, Lila searched around before finding her plain white running shoes slipping them on quietly to not disturb Alexis. Tying her hair back into a high ponytail she slipped her pure black headphones on, connecting her iPod to it as 'Fight back' by Neffex started to play in her ears the guitar started to get her mood boosting. Making her way downstairs silently she grabbed a bright red apple as she slipped out the front door, locking it behind her before taking a bite from the juicy fruit beginning her walk to the gym down the street. Finishing the apple by the time she got to the front doors of the gym she tossed the core into a trash bin, pushing the doors open entering as she immediately felt a few people look over at her. Ignoring them the short blonde walked to a treadmill as she started the machine beginning to run along to the pace she set, following the vibrations of each step to make sure she didn't stumble her eyes closing in relaxation. Focusing beyond the music she could hear a few whispers as people continued to stare 'dude, she's pretty cute!' 'I wonder if she's single' smirking a little at their comments she ran for another 40 minutes before stopping the treadmill, a few beads of sweat dripping down her forehead as she wiped them away with the towel around her neck. Stepping off Lila began to feel the vibrations of the floor and the sounds around her as she mapped out the gym floor, remembering where each thing was she made her way to the punching bags as a huff quietly left her lips.
