So here I was again. One week later and I was still sitting in the damn library. This time it wasn't geography but my math skills needed to... Well, let's just say that they weren't "the best". "4X (2Y * 3X) : ½X * 6Y" is something only Einstein could solve, okay maybe I wasn't good at physics either.

The same dark bookshelves were surrounding me making me fell like I was in the set of Harry Potter or something. The dust was unbearable and I sneezed every fifth second. Why wasn't I smart? That would be a lot easier for my parents, my teachers, me and the boy who was about to enter my life once again.

"Urgh, it's you again" Ashton sighed, sitting down at the edge of my table.

"Well, it could be worse, I could be a murder"

"Technically you are"

"How?" I couldn't see how I, the girl who can't even be home alone, could be planning to kill someone.

"You have the ability to kill the mood every time I am near you" Ashton giggled. His giggle was like hearing small children laugh, it was calming.

"I am the one killing the mood? Mr. I have to go" Ashton flinched after the words left my mouth. It was like the words haunted him. But he did leave when I was around. Why? I kept asking myself these questions, but how should I know? Ashton was mysterious and not usually my type, but the little girl-devil inside of me was screaming his name and all I could do was ask questions.

"Why are you here, anyway?"

"I was actually looking for Calum, have you seen him?"

"No"

"Well that was really helpfull"

"Sorry that I don't know where he is, it's not like I am Sherlock Homes or something"

"No shit Sherlock"

"Ha. Ha. Very funny" It actually was, I needed to bite my lib to hold back a laughter. He did the same.

We starred at each other for several minutes, starting a starring competition. Of course I won, making Ashton let out one of his beautiful giggles. The cute starring competition turned out awkward and both of us were waiting for the other one to break the silence.

Ashton was the one breaking it.

"What's your name?"

"Really? You don't know my name?" I knew that Ashton wasn't really paying attention when we meet the second time, but I thought that he was at least listening to Calum, apparently not since he now was frowning. I gave in and told him.

"Its May"

"Really, like the month?" He almost giggled.

"Yeah, like the month" I sighed big time. Every since my mom gave me that name, people had been asking. Yes, like the damn month!

"Oh, I'm sorry, did I insult you?" Ashton smiled, obviously finding this situation very amusing.

"Yes"

"Get use to it because I will be teasing you about it"

"Its okay, I'll just find some stupid nickname for you"

"Like what?" he wiggled his eyebrows. I slapped him playfully on his shoulder, laughing through gritted teeth. He gasped acting surprised, making me look like the dirty one.

"Well since your name is Ashto-"

"It is!" Ashton cut me of. I slapped him again and he hold his hands up in surrender letting me finish.

"I am gonna call you August, you know, like the month"

Ashton got up and started walking away, first I was surprised, but then he started wriggling his hips, walking extremely fast, and then I knew he was acting sassy. I laughed at him, letting him know that I knew he was acting, but he didn't stop walking, so before he reached the door I got up and yelled after him.

"Stop! August where are you going?"

Ashton stopped, standing still for a few seconds, then he turned around and gave me a wink, before he walked out the door.

This boy was seriously getting on my nerves. I liked it.

I stayed at the library for another hour before i got interupted by Calum. He rushed into the library but slowed down when he saw me. He pulled out a chair and sat down beside me catching his breath. He smiled at me letting me know that he was okay.

"So let me guess, you are looking for Aug- I mean Ashton?" I asked, but Calum looked confused so i explained.

"Ashton came here for about an hour ago and told me he was looking for you"

"Oh, did he say anything about someone named Mackenzie?"

"No he didn't" Ashton didn't mention any 'Mackenzie' and honestly I didn't wanna her about it.

"Did he say anything else?" Calum seemed like he really wanted to know someting that i obviously didn't know.

"No, not really... We just talked for a bit and then he left- what is up with that boy and leaving?" Calum slowly got up from the table shaking his head.

"You don't know the whole story" Calum said walking out of the library. I didn't even get to say anything before he was out of sight. I was shocked by Calums reaction. What did I say?

Everyone seemed to walk out on me today.
