The sound of dripping filled my rounded ears, yet, I knew this sound was deadly. No, it was not water. No, it was not ink....It was blood. Blood of the poor inklings and Octolings that dared tried to talk to me, look at me, be my friend and love me. Who, you would ask, would do such a horrible thing? What evil monster would do this? DJ Octavio? Brainwashed/inner agent 3? No, the one who did this...nobody ever would of thought that she would do this...Pearl. My dear Pearlie, my (now ex) best friend..all for me. I didn't ask her to, she decided that I could be only her's. All of my escape attempts have proved futile, even if I managed to escape this prison she wouldn't stop until she found me again....how I regret the day we met, how I ever showed her kindness! How we ever become off the hook! How we sung together! HOW COULD SHE DO THIS!?!- I...I need to calm down...I miss the good times....Why don't I just allow myself to think of the day we met? . . . . . .

My short tentacle-hair tickled my dark skinned neck. I had just ran away from my home in octo-canyon, My life finest belong there! I needed to escape and follow my dream of becoming a singer. Ever since DJ Octavio got defeated by that long tentacle-haired inkling, the two squids that were preforming- the 'squid sisters'- inspired me. They changed my life forever! I couldn't help but root for the little inkling!
"Yo, anyone here!?"
Oh no, Who is that? If it's a fellow octoling they'll drag me back and if it's a inkling they will surely try to kill me! But I can't run, they would chase me. I can't hide either...oh no! I'm done for...

Huh? I opened my eyes and looked at who I presumed was a inkling, she was small, had short tentacle-hair that was white and went to a pretty pink, a white dress, hot pink leggings and white boots....and a crown? Is she royalty?
"My name is Pearl!" 'Pearl' announced, as I stayed quiet
"Um, this is the part where you tell me your name..." she sarcastically commented
"O-oh! I-I'm sorry! M-my name is Marina!" I stuttered nervously, scared that I annoyed her.
"Cool!" She said
"What's that?" I asked, pointing to a devise she was holding
"Oh, this old thing? I have like 10000! It's a phone, I'm surprised that you didn't know, considering you Octolings and Octarians have l this fancy machinery!" She laughed
"How cheap are they that you can have so many...?" I asked, Such machinery for such a low price?
"There not cheap at all, actually! They cost a ton of money!" She said
Well I guess she's royalty so she would have a lot of money...
"Hey what are you doing?" I asked, as she ponied it at me
"Just smile and I'll show you!" She stated
"Oh...ok.." I said and smiled
