The moon shone gracefully across Inkopolis Square, 12:00 AM. Pearl had her head down on the desk, desperately trying to stay awake as her and Marina had been up all night trying to think of new song lyrics in there studio.
"How about....ughhgghhhhghjej....um..." pearl blurted out, Trying to be helpful to Marina as she had done all the work so far as she wasn't the slightest bit tired which confused pearl greatly.
"Haha. Your so cute when you can't speak, Pearlie!" Marina giggled, Pearl smiled a little at her girlfriends kind words
"Your just always cute, 'Rina." Pearl looked up at her octoling girlfriend and smiled even more, showing her pearly white teeth then yawning, finding it harder and harder to stay awake. "What have you got already for the song?"

Pearl smiled, knowing the song was done and she could sleep, though she wanted to stay up just to give Marina some company, even though she knew that she couldn't.
"Pearlie, You can go home if you want. You look awfully tired!" Marina stood, and stroked Pearls short tentacle hair
"No, no! 'Rina I'm fine, I promise." Pearl protested, trying her very hardest to look wide awake
"Fine, but if you fall asleep here I'm not carrying you home, Pearl." Marina giggled
"Well, your just going to have to sleep here with me!" Pearl smirked
"Oh Pearlie, what will I do with you...?" Marina whispered while blushing ever so lightly casting Pearls smirk to grow
"What did you say this song was called?" Pearl asked looking over the lyrics again, now wondering what kind of beat Marina would put to it
"It's in the song 3 times pearl, Nasty majesty." Marina rolled her eyes playfully, Her girlfriend could be a little thick sometimes. Very rarely but it happens from time to time, though doesn't that happen to everyone?
"Hey, 'Rina. You ever wonder how 8 is doing?" Pearl asked
"Yeah, we should meet up with her some time. And all the other agents! Like Marie, Callie, 3 and 4!" Marina announced
"That sounds like a plan- hey wait...who's agent 7? It goes you and then 8?" Pearl wondered
"It will probably be revealed in the next game, Pearlie." Marina answered
"Ah, OK." Pearl could now barely even keep her eyes open, before she could even get up to go home she was consumed by darkness, into the depths of the night, the land of dreams where you can descend to the lowest lows of the great blue sea and venture to the highest highs of mountains but most of all, You can dream of the ones you love the most.

Cold was the night, snow fell from the clouded sky. Winter was apon Inkopolis Square as squids and kids played out in the cold- however what struck as strange was there was no Octolings. Pearl walked up to a girl with long green bangs "3? Is that you?" Pearl tapped the girls back, as she turned around it was indeed Agent 3.
"Where are all the Octolings, 3?" Pearl asked looking at all the happy kid-squids running around
"We sent them were they belong- pearl, you were there!" Agent 3 answered
"Where's that?" Pearl asked trying to shake a baby squid off her leg
"Hell." This simple word shocked pearl so much that she lost her balance
"WHAT!? B-but Marina! What about agent 8!? Are they all really dead?" Pearl started to get angry now, How could they?
"Pearl, you're the one who came up with the idea....and who cares about those idiots anyway? Marina was a whore and agent 8 was a fraud! Those where your exact words, Pearl." Agent 3 looked down upon pearl and noticed her extremely angry expression, agent 3 rolled her eyes at this.
"NO! I WOULD NEVER! I LOVE MARINA! I LOVE HER! YOU HEAR ME!?! I LOVE AN OCTOLING! NOT JUST ANY OCTOLING, MY OCTOLING! SHE WOULD NEVER HURT ANYONE INNOCENT!!" Pearl screamed, agent 3 sighed and then staid perfectly still, she began to melt. Pearl screamed and crawled back a bit, she noticed all the other squid-kids were doing exactly the same thing. Under the layer that melted lay a doppelgänger of pearl, all smirking menacingly.
And so it all began, all the Pearls started to say horrible things about Marina.
"Such a slut!"
"I bet she's slept with every boy here!"
"We should just kill her- all the other octolings too!"
"When is that dirty waffle eater going to kill herself?"
"The only reason she wrote nasty majesty the way it is, is because she's a horny cow!"
"When is she not horny?"
"I can see why she's called Marina, a docking station for boats? More like c-"
"ENOUGH!" The real pearl yelled, tears now clouding her golden eyes. "Marina is my perfect little angle!"
"Is she though?"
Pearl couldn't answer, not because she didn't have one because a bright light caused her to open her eyes, back into reality.
"Pearlie, are you alright? You tossed and turned a lot!" Marina said, placing a hand on Pearls hip
"Do you love me?" Pearl blurred out
"Of course I do!" Marina gasped
"Prove it to me~" pearl smirked as Marina blushed and rolled her eyes, gently kissing her inkling girlfriend's lips
"Is that enough proof?" Marina smiled
"No, no! My nasty majesty~ you have to show me MUCH more than that~!"
