Pearl was sitting in inkopolis square, minding her own business until she saw her tall octoling crush: Marina. Pearl and Marina -better known as off the hook- have been friends for a long time now, in that long time pearl grew feelings for the octoling. A blush spread across her face as she saw her laughing: assuming it was because Callie made a funny joke. Pearl wished she was hanging out with Marina instead of Callie but she was, at the moment, to shy to.

Pearl looked at Marina's lips for a moment, before blushing and looking away 'she wouldn't want to kiss me, Would she?' Pearl thought to herself, the more she thought about it: the more she wanted to do it.

There's one way to ask her
'What have I got to lose?' Pearl asked herself, before making a list mentally of what she actually does have to lose, the main one being Marina. She sucked it up anyway and stood anyway. 'She might like me back..'

Nodding, she walked slowly to where they were, walking behind Marina. She got lost in her thoughts and as she walked her courage drained.

She was now standing behind Marina, she stuck her hand out to touch the tall woman's back but her hand clenched into a fist and she brought it back to her, scared out of her mind. Nor Callie or Marina seemed to notice the small inkling.

Sighing pearl walked away with a depressed look on her face, she had failed.

(I had to change it, inklings/Octolings can't go in water!) Pearl looked up at Marina, they were Sitting in the middle of Goby arena, Blue and orange ink splats covered a lot of the area due to the fact a turf war took place there not to long ago. Marina was reading a book, pearl, however was just holding one: pretending to read but she was just thinking about Marina.

Marina wasn't saying anything and Pearl knew that time was running out. 'Come on, Pearl! You can do this!' She thought, she looked behind her to calm her nerves a little bit, only to see that Callie and Marie were looking at them from the seats. Callie did a happy jump with a huge grin and Marie gave a thumbs up and smiled. 'It's now or never, Pearl! Go! Get! That! Octoling!' Pearl nodded and turned back around but panic stabbed her as soon as she did. Tears ran down her white face. 'Why...why can't I do this!?' She screamed at herself mentally

Marina looked up from her book and saw Pearls tears, making her gasp. "Pearlie!" She said, worried. She went closer to comfort her "NO! Get away!" Pearl yelled, getting up and running. "PEARLIE! WAIT!" Marina got up to run after her, only to trip up on her feet "Errrg.." Marina yelled as she collided with the floor quite harshly, Pearl stopped and looked at Callie and Marie, Callie had a face that you get when something awkward happens and Marie has a shocked one, though, Pearl noticed that Marie wasn't looking at her like Callie was- She was looking a thing Marina! Turning around suddenly she saw her crush face first on the floor in lots of pain. She gasped and fast walked back.

"Oh my god! Are you OK!?" Pearl asked, nealing down and helping Marina onto her nees "I-I'm alight, thank you, Pearlie." Marina said brushing off some dirt from her shoulder "I-its just that...I wa-wanted to tell you...I-I..." Pearl stuttered out, face a pink similar to her tentacles (Hair????) Marina rolled her eyes and giggled, pulling Pearl closer to her

Marina put her lips onto Pearls, kissing her gently. Pearl quickly kissed back and the two of them pulled away "I-I love you, Marina..." Pearl said, now a crimson colour "I love you too, Pearlie!" Marina smiled, her face too a crimson colour.

Both of them smiled And Marina hugged Pearl, Seeing Callie and Marie fangirling 'They've been there the hole time!?' Marina thought. "GO PEARL AND MARINA!!" Callie yelled as Marie giggled, as pearl and Marina broke the hug doing so to, before the two got tackled by Callie "How did you get here so fast!?" Pearl asked, the three laughing. A pair of arms hugged the three of them together, Quickly seeing that it was just Marie they calmed down. Marina looked down at pearl and smiled more and pearl did the same.
