Yami really seemed to detest Shinso and was constantly snapping at him which would prompt Shinso to use his quirk to make him be quiet. I was worried about the pair of them afraid they'd both start to get serious and actually try to harm one another. The rest of our classmates in general studies seemed a little apprehensive about Yami and I, with his edgy appearance and my broken and bruised one.
"Let's get lunch." Shinso was trying to goad Yami again as he gently placed his hand to the small of my back and steered me in the direction of the cafeteria. Yami bristled at this and stormed after us.
"Keep your hands off her!" Yami snarled angrily causing me to let out a panicked squeak.
"Ah, please don't fight!" I cried.
"Now look what you've done, Guyliner, you've gone and upset her." Shinso tried to provoke Yami again. His indigo eyes danced with amusement.
Yami's charcoal lined ember eyes narrowed into a glare but he showed amazing restraint by not snapping at Shinso. He took a step forward and I glanced down as I saw his foot make contact with Shinso's shadow. His shadow flared for a moment before his body jerked and he suddenly stopped moving, as if he were paralyzed.
"Shinso?" I turned to him curiously and waved my free hand in front of his face.
Yami smirked at this, "I'm getting really tired of your shit Mind Wipe." He hissed.
"EEP! Yami, please let him go."
"Go on ahead, Ghost Girl. I'll catch up in a minute." He smirked wickedly.
I bolted away from them in search of someone to help break up what I was sure was going to be a big fight. As I rounded the corner, I spotted the teacher with the scarf that currently resembled a mummy from the plethora of bandages wrapped around his body. What was his name again?
"M-Mr. Aizawa?!" I squeaked.
He turned curiously away from his conversation with another teacher, a man roughly around Mr. Aizawa's age with gravity defying blonde hair. His edgy leather getup made him look more like a biker or a Rockstar than a teacher. They both turned at the sound of my voice. The blonde's eyes widened as he noted my bruised appearance and cyborg arm.
"Oh, Tara, right?" Mr. Aizawa held his hand up to stop me from running probably sensing I'd wipe out and break my other arm.
I slid to a stop before them. "S-sorry to bother you, but I need help breaking up a fight, please."
"Lead the way." Mr. Aizawa replied and they both followed after me as I scrambled back to where I'd left Yami and Shinso only to pause as I spotted them both running toward me in a panic.
"Ah...you two stopped fighting?" I slid to a stop and because I had the coordination of a newborn fawn, tripped over my own feet.
They both instinctively reached out catching me between them careful not to aggravate any of my injuries in the process before looking to the two teachers at my heels. Yami shook his head in silent laughter.
"You got the fuzz?" He poked at me.
"You two were fighting and wouldn't listen to me!" I stammered. "How come you stopped fighting?"
"The idiot realized he sent you off on your own when you don't know your way around." Shinso smirked causing Yami to shoot him a dark look.
