08: Sohee

Another day of school and Y/N was ready for it. You ask why? She was still happy from her yesterday's joyous moments. Walking past two main blocks, she saw Taehyung and Jimin getting down the streets. Waving them, she ran towards them.

"Yo!! Y/N." Jimin said

"Hey Chim. Hey, Tae." She exclaimed happily

"When did you start calling him Tae?" Jimin asked smirking

"It's comfortable and why can't I call him that? He's my friend too. Right Tae?" Y/N asked

"Yes. You can." Taehyung smiled

As they were walking talking about yesterday and telling Taehyung every information.

Reaching school, they went straight to lockers. Y/N hadn't met Jungkook nor Lisa. She was going to be late if she would reach out for them so she went to class directly. Entering the class, the aura seemed pretty quiet. The curiosity got the best of her because her class was noisiest. Why would it be? Her assigned homeroom teacher was there at the front looking kinda in a bad mood? Definitely, he was. Every person in the class could sense that.

"I heard that you guys are not studying properly and are playing behind the bushes. I am really tired of getting complains from each and every teacher, I am going to rearrange our seats." He said in a calm but stern voice

Reshuffling the seat, Chaeyoung and Y/N got separated. Chae-young's new partner was Sammy, and Y/N was Sohee.

Sohee, a quiet girl in the class. Y/N had known her for years. They were together since kindergarten but never exchanged any words. Only a few. Y/N was feeling uncomfortable but she could see how uncomfortable Sohee was more than her. And she looked a bit scared? Sure, Y/N had an intimidating aura, but she wasn't scary. That was what exactly Y/N thought. To calm her down, she thought of making the first move.

"Hey," Y/N said with a wide smile

"H-hi," Sohee said trying to smile as well but she got all red

"How have you been?" Y/N said

"Good. You?" Sohee asked trying her best to talk comfortably

"I am good as well." Y/N said

"We didn't talk that much before so it's kinda awkward right? Y/N asked trying to keep the conversation

"Yeah, we should become good friends now," Sohee said in a small voice smiling but all red

"Sure, let's do it" Y/N smiled

Behind them were Jimin and Taehyung who were listening to the girls talk. They found pretty amazing how Y/N started to talk at first when she could sit there not giving a damn.

Y/N's POV

After reshuffling, my partner was Sohee. A classmate of mine since kindergarten. I haven't had a real conversation with her till now. But I heard, she is the shy type and can't approach people. I could see how uncomfortable she is with strangers, but she was helpful since we were little. I could see how she gets all red when she got nervous or embarrassed or tried to talk with people. She seems cute but afraid. So I thought of approaching her. Before the lunch break, we shared a lot of information. She seemed like a good person to be around.

END OF Y/N's POV

Definitely having Sohee as the bench partner was the best choice, only a week and they got closer. Y/N never thought she could be close with Sohee but they say opposite attracts so did they. Sohee had started to talk a bit more. They had endless talks. Sohee was so small and cute that Y/N couldn't help but like her. Like she got a baby to take care of. Sohee looked that precious. A mochi. Y/N uwued every time she did something.

That's how Sohee and Y/N had the best benchmates as well as friendship goals.
