14: Kookie

Waking up, following her routine, and making a full course breakfast, Y/N went to get ready for the day.  The Kims silently ate their breakfast and were ready to lead the way out. On the way out, Namjoon kept teasing his sister about her date, to which Y/N response was ignorance. She plugged her earphone and started walking fast towards the bus stop. With a teasing smile, he was lagging behind her. 

Reaching the school, they separated their ways bidding each other. As soon as reach her locker, a hand puller her wrist. 

"So, why didn't I know about this? " Jungkook asked looking somewhat angry

"I thought Liz would tell you, Kook." She said 

"Of course, she did after you were already out on that date." He told sarcastically 

"I am sorry, then, " She said turning to pick some books from her locker 

"Are you really sorry?" He scoffed 

"Okay, Kook. I am sorry. I should have told you. I just thought Liz would tell you as she was going to tell others as well." She sighed as she said 

"Jin hyung? Do you still like him now?" He said as he looked at her and she could tell he was hurt 

"It was always him. My heart flutters whenever I see him." Y/N said to him truthfully.

They hadn't lied to each other that much as others. Just some white lies, nothing more nothing less.  So she just answered her real thoughts to it. But was she really telling the truth? Although her heart fluttered seeing him but could she really call it a feeling? Feeling something for someone was really a big deal for her. She needed it to be deep and should have a connection.

As best friends, they would share everything. The three of them would tell each other everything, although Y/N was not that vocal about such things, she did improve her criteria with these two. So, there was nothing wrong with Jungkook being disappointed. 

"Realize your true feelings then." He said as he went towards his class 

Y/N sighed as she had someone to mend up with. She regretted not telling Jungkook. Maybe spending the whole weekend with him as old days would be helpful was what she was thinking. Lisa was there in the scene but if she would join a big mess would create. So she waited for Jungkook to leave. 

"Don't worry, Kookie will understand. "Lisa said as she kept some of her materials 

"No, it's my fault. I should have told him," Y/N said as she turned to Lisa 

"Just spend the whole weekend with him and apologize. I will try my best in class." Lisa said, packing her bag 

"Was thinking the same, Liz" She said smiling 

"Bye, see you later." Lisa waved as she ran upstairs 

Getting inside the class, there with big eyes and hopeful ears sat her friends. As soon as she sat in her place, the five of them were staring at her. 

"Okay,  let me go meet teacher first," She said standing up 

"Shin, let's go ?" Y/N asked 

"Yeah, " He nodded  before walking towards the door 

"How do you think did her date went like? "Sohee asked as she stared at others 

"Maybe like how I told yesterday. " Heji said 

"Knowing Y/N, she probably did that." She added 

"You think they kissed?" Yeri said looking excited
