15: Kook knew

Y/N pulled Jungkook towards the somewhat empty garden. Placing themselves on the bench, Y/N began to munch down the nachos, while Jungkook stared at her.

"I am sorry, Kook" Y/N said staring at the trees in front of them, her eyes looking sincere

"You know what? I feel guilty. Just because you are my best friend, I shouldn't have ignored you." He said putting the nachos inside his mouth

"No, I should have told you. It isn't fair, you tell me everything, while I hide everything." She said facing him, and a look in her eyes telling that she strongly believes in whatever she just said

"Then how about you telling me about having feelings for Taehyung?" Jungkook asked as he dipped the nacho in the sauce

Y/N just blankly looked at him. How did he know? Did Lisa tell him?

"W-what? No!" She exclaimed as she stuttered

Can you already die, why did you stutter, she thought as she cursed herself in her head

"Did I stutter?" He asked

"No?" She answered-questioned

"I didn't stutter but you surely did," He smiled evilly as he knew he won this game

"Okay, it was nothing but just a small ting of crush" She confessed

"So that's why you are blushing this hard?" He questioned

"And again, if he's the one you like why did you go on a date with Jin hyung?" He asked again

"Ohmygod, are you using him?" He laughed as he was shocked

"What? No! I didn't use Jin. Okay, I just happen to like him a bit and now I don't want to continue liking him. He already has a girlfriend. And I went on a date with Jin because I just wanted to be brave enough, and ask him for a date." She said somewhat telling the truth

"And here I thought you were using hyung." He laughed out

"But my inspection of Taehyung is still not over, I am watching you."He said smiling evilly

"Your smile is creeping me out. So are we okay?" She said hitting his shoulder

"We are. Just let me know as well about your things. Maybe I have good suggestions than that dumb monkey." Junngkook said standing up

"You are dead if Liz hears that." She said laughing

"She wouldn't if you don't tell her." He said as he dusts his hand after he finished eating

Both of them stood up getting ready to leave for class.

"See you after school" Y/N said as she hears the bell and waved at him

Returning towards her classroom, she could say almost all the hallways were empty. She was exhausted for all that running and also late for her class. Taking her last ten steps to reach her floor, she saw how Taehyung was waving off his girlfriend.

Why out of all she had to witness this, she thought as she rolled her eyes.

Right after that, Joohyun also waved at her, she faked a smile as she waved at her back. Because of this, she was starting to dislike Joohyun for no reason. Only because of him, so she had to stop.

As she reached the floor, Taehyung smiled at her, she smiled back.

"So how did the talk with Jungkook go?" He asked

"It went well. We are good now." She said

"Why are you late? Having a little date with Joohyun?" Y/N teased him a bit

For fuck sake, why was she even teasing him? Teasing her own crush with other girl's names. Yeah, that was how much Y/N was in the game called, "love".

"No," He said as his cheeks went red

"What a good way to lie, Kim Taehyung. whatever let me pretend as well." She thought

"Sure, whatever you say." She said

"So are you and Jin hyung together now?" He teased me with his eyes

"No, We just had a friendly date, nothing serious." She said

"Sure whatever you say," He said looking innocent

"Wait did he just use my own words against me?" She thought to herself and was about to snap but her great best friend had to hit her head at that very moment.

"Why are you not going inside," He said and again he also had those teasing eyes

"Why are all of them giving me those eyes? My own crush teasing me with other boy's name and best friend teasing me in front of my crush". She kept on thinking to herself and was planning how to escape this scenario.

"Want to go somewhere? Looks like the teacher won't be opening the door anytime soon." Y/N said looking at the boys

"I have a lab class, Y/N. I need full attendance," Jungkook said as she signed off from there

"Sure," Taehyung said
