Smash High School: Deadly Life

"We all know how powerful Little Mac is on the ground. However, as soon as he's in the air, he's extremely vulnerable!" Zelda reminded the audience. She and Peach made a great pair. Zelda would deliver the information, and Peach would hype things up and cheer often.

Little Mac had fallen off the stage despite having dealt more damage to Wii Fit Trainer than she dealt to him. Little Mac jumped twice, in a desperate attempt to grab the ledge. He was almost there! He uppercutted as his last resort. The crowd was silent. They all watched as he missed the ledge. "Nooo!" Little Mac plummeted farther into the abyss, with no other method of getting back up. Wii Fit Trainer then dropped a soccer ball onto his head, and he was out cold.

"OOH! The disrespect! Wii Fit Trainer has taken the first stock!" Peach shouted.

After losing that first stock, Little Mac did a much better job staying on the ground. Everyone in the bleachers watched anxiously except for Pit and Dark Pit, who were both flying around the bleachers. They were probably searching for something they left behind one day. Zelda explained Little Mac's super armour mechanics to the audience just as he connected a KO punch, winning the game! "I knew I was the fittest!" Mac vociferated. Everyone ran downstairs to the abyss. We all had another match incoming!

"Do you have enough pills for a 99 stock match?" Roy asked. Doctor Mario gave the thumbs up, and even Zelda and Peach came downstairs to join us! We climbed the ladder onto the stage, selected Palutena's Temple, and prepared for battle. This was something special everyone in the junior grade would do for fun.

"Come on, Link!" Cloud leapt above me, and I rolled to the side as he slammed his sword into the ground. I offered an alliance, and he nodded. Just in time too, as Marth and Lucina charged towards us! I threw my remote bomb at the pair and detonated it before they could escape. Two eliminations. Cloud and I climbed to the surface of the temple to find any other targets. Peach, Zelda, Palutena, and Rosalina were fighting Daisy and Samus. Cloud motioned for me to toss my remote bomb at them. I obliged, but suddenly, Shulk dove from the roof of the temple and caught the bomb! He threw it up and out of range. "I'm really feeling it!"

"Falcon...kick!" Captain Falcon kicked Shulk off the stage! Cloud and I ducked our heads. Wii Fit Trainer and Little Mac were below us. Cloud and I dropped down. I threw my boomerang at Little Mac, and he ducked, right into blade of Cloud's buster sword! Wii Fit Trainer backed away. Her teammate was gone. "Since when do you two get along? Didn't you two just fight?" Cloud asked Wii Fit Trainer.

"I guess you could say we bonded over that fight." Wii Fit Trainer answered. She threw a soccer ball at Cloud, and he batted it back at her with his sword. Wii Fit Trainer bounced off the stage. "That's two for me!" Cloud taunted. We climbed back out of the cave. Zelda's party of four was still kicking. Wolf, Fox, and Falco were launched off the stage. Nothing could best a team of four except another team of four. Bowser roared and threw Cloud off the stage! "Cloud!" I jumped behind Bowser, and used one of Shulk's moves. "Backslash!" Bowser flew forward, crashing through Zelda's team and launching Rosalina in the process. Corrin, Ike, Roy, and Robin challenged them. They now had the number advantage. I looked behind me. Ganondorf was hovering over Chrom, sword raised. I snuck towards them to avenge Chrom, but Ganondorf brought his blade down  too slowly, and Chrom slashed him, launching Ganondorf away. Chrom rose to his feet just as I fired my bow at him. "Four."

"Aaaggh!" Roy screamed as though he was being stabbed to death as he flew past me. I looked back to Zelda's fight. Only Palutena, Robin, and Corrin remained. Robin swung his thunder sword, and Palutena was launched. Robin and Corrin air high fived, afraid of suiciding each other. I wondered how many players were left. If I had seen every elimination, this would be much easier. Suddenly, in a flash of blue, Robin and Corrin were launched off the stage! Oh no.
