Rachel's p.o.v.
"I would do anything for you. I'm gonna thank your mommy everyday for giving me you. I bet you are gonna grow up being a diva and the most talented singer. Just like your mom. I have my hands full but I love you more than anything" I hear him say to Brynn.

I feel like I'm living in a dream. The two most perfect humans are right in front of me in that room. In this moment I finally know for sure that me and Finn are going to be ok. I smile then go to bed.

Finn's p.o.v.
{the next day}
I get up and leave the guest bedroom and walk into the living room to see Rachel on the couch with the baby watching tv.

"Good morning." I say to her. She looks up and sees me.

"Oh morning." She says with a small smile.

"How'd you two sleep?" I ask smiling at the baby.

"Eh. Alright I guess." She says softly laughing.

"Not so good?" I say smirking. She shakes her head.

"That's what I thought. I'm gonna get breakfast, do you need anything?" I ask her.

"No thanks, I'm good." She says. I nod then go into the kitchen. After I eat I look over into the living room and see Rachel carefully setting Brynn into the swing next to couch. She kisses her head then lays down on the couch and tries to sleep. I smile then go over and clean the dishes. After I'm done with that I write a note to Rachel on the counter then head out to the store to grab some things that Rachel's out of and some things for Brynn.

{an hour later}
I walk into the house with all the bags and hear the baby crying and Rachel trying to calm her down. I set the bags down on the table then go into the living room.

"Brynn please. I don't know what you want me to do?" I see Rachel crying and trying to smooth her but nothings working. I quickly go to her.

"Hey what's wrong?" I ask trying to help.

"I don't know what to do. She woke up from only a 20 minute nap and hasn't stopped crying since. I tried feeding her, changing her diaper, rocking her, I sang to her but that didn't even work. I don't know what's wrong." She says worried and exhausted.

"Here let me take her." I say and she hands her over to me. I rock her back and forth then walk into the kitchen and grab her pacifier off the counter and put it in her mouth. She slowly stops crying and calms down.

"Of course her pacifier! God why didn't I think of that. I should've known." She says upset with herself.

"It's not your fault Rachel. You are still recovering and tired. This is all so new for both of us. We can't just magical know what she wants. Don't be discouraged with yourself." I say sitting down across from her.

"I just want to be the perfect parent for her. I want to be able to know what she wants and needs. But I can't even remember to give her a pacifier." She says wiping her tears. It's so hard cause she's still so emotional from everything so she beats herself up over the littlest things.

"No parent is perfect. We're gonna get used to everything and probably get better at this but we're never gonna be perfect Rach. You are already an amazing mom. And look she's totally fine now." I say looking down at Brynn sleeping in my arms. Rachel looks at her and nods tucking her hair behind her ear. She looks up at me.
