To be honest with you, i'm not what you consider an astronomer. In fact, i'm a private detective in the London area. My equivalence of a day was entering my office, find files on my reports, and do paperwork. As you can expect, it was mundane. There was barely any excitement, and if there were excitement, it was a small part of the day, to which after those events, I would look over those events and say "Ah, that was surprising."

For what i'm about to tell you, is my personal account to what happened in the next 14 days.

After I finished the last of my paperwork, I headed back home for my late dinner. I looked at the sky, it was black, showing distant stars and planets. I don't know if I were special, but on that 4th week of April, 1969, I saw a remarkable event. As to look in the sky on command, I saw an orange light, growing larger, and larger. Then, the orange light shot a green light from it, it hurdled closer, and closer to Earth. I thought it might've been an asteroid flying near Earth. But I thought the trail from that asteroid was oddly near the same level towards our Ariel satellite programme. I simply nodded it was just a passing comet or asteroid nearing Earth's orbit.

And for the next 10 days, it was like that, orange lights, nearing the Earth, then shooting out green missiles at it. I still ignored it during those days. Then, in my offices, I heard a radio report. "A cylinder, 60 meters tall and wide, have crash landed on Warwickshire, Suffolk, and North Yorkshire. Local news outlets are still reporting in." I found it rather peculiar that I had family in Warwickshire. 2 of my brothers and sister lived there. I wanted to make sure if they were alright. I hopped on the nearest train towards Warwick.

Once I checked into my motel, I quickly rested up, knowing full well there will be crowds of people. I decided to go to the site tomorrow.
